We are Allelo.

Our name comes from the word allelomimesis which is the phenomenon of a group, such as birds, coming together to form a flock.The idea of gathering is echoed throughout our menu where items are meant for sharing with friends.

Our dining room here at Allelo is very intimate with the majority of our tables being smaller than five guests. Please note that if your party is larger than 6 people, you will most likely be outside.
All outside tables have heaters and blankets available, but please dress warmly as nighttime temperatures can change suddenly.

$25 corkage per 750ml. We have a three bottle limit per table. We do have an extensive wine list with over 500 bottles of wine to choose from. Also, our in-house sommelier would love to make a recommendation for your table.

Very disappointing. Meatballs were all breading and bland/underseasoned. $9 bread was stale, butter tasted weird and the squid ink pasta was one of the worst dishes I’ve had in years. Poor description (expected broccolini, not broccolini butter), served in sea of green broccolini tinted unseasoned pool of creamy butter. Sent it back. Server very accommodating.

We recently moved to St Pete from a much larger city with a great food scene. Though we have found a few gems here, Allelo blew everything else out of the water! GREAT FOOD (I’m still dreaming about that black garlic butter - I could bathe in it), great cocktails, attentive service, and everything about this restaurant is so beautiful (attention to design detail is top notch)! Though it’s one of the pricier places in town, we would’ve easily spent $150 more in a larger city for the same menu… and it still would’ve been worth every penny. Highly suggest for any special occasion, date night, or for when you’re simply feeling like some great food!

I love it here! One of my fave restaurants in the Tampa/St pete here. Every time I go it’s an amazing experience- every single thing is amazing on the menu but I’d recommend the focaccia with the special butters, the cauliflower (unreal), the lamb bolognese, and the olive oil martini (called Like a Virgin). The service is always super professional and friendly and the vibes are awesome. Go go go!

Service was excellent. One of the best old fashioneds I’ve had. Girlfriend loved her espresso martini. Beef tartare was awesome, tasting menu was exciting, delicious, and great value.

We had a wonderful Sunday brunch. The food was delicious, our waiter was very attentive, and the atmosphere was beautiful. We hope to be back soon.

I visited with my daughter for brunch while she was visiting from out of town. I wanted to treat her to something special. We heard great things about Allelo. Our experience did not live up! Our server was great but not quite as attentive as expected. The meatballs and hummus were delicious but the shrimp cocktail was mushy. The bib salad was very small and lacked the “crispy vegetables”. The wine offerings were delicious. It’s truly a beautiful restaurant. Will go back for wine and charcuterie but not brunch.

We had a wonderful experience last night. Our server Allison gave great recommendations and everyone in our group loved their food/drinks. Stand outs were: meatballs, oysters, baby gem salad, lamb bolognese, and the branzino. Our favorite was the branzino and we all shared it. Expresso martinis and baklava cheesecake also were outstanding. I can’t wait to go back. Allison also spent lots of time explaining the menu and making sure we had everything we needed even though it was a very busy night at the restaurant.
