Welcome to Allegheny Grille, where we offer great food & friendly faces seven days a week. We are location on the banks of the beautiful Allegheny River which is second to none, and is the perfect place for a table for two or more, the grandest wedding reception, or business luncheon. Make a weekend out of your trip to Foxburg. Located right next to us is the Foxburg Inn and across the parking lot the Foxburg winery (visit our website to see all the Foxburg attractions). Did we mention the Allegheny Bike Trail is right out our back door.

    We sat 20 minutes before anyone took our drink order. It took an hour to get our dinner. My sweet potato fries were burned and cold. Our salads and appetizer came after the main entree. Our first visit to the restaurant was not a good one.

    Entrees were average at best and barely warm when served. The”$10” menu is the best value/price offering and reflective of the quality of the other menu offerings. The hostess was very welcoming; however, our server was worse than the food! Abrupt, in a hurry, and seemingly too busy to follow up even though the number of diners was minuscule. This establishment does not complement the Foxburg Inn

    We waited along time for our food and it was only warm not hot and not anything more than ok. I do feel the waitress was busting her butt so maybe they were shorthanded it was kinda busy. Overall it was just ok

    We went down for a nice meal for my birthday. Our reservation was for 745 on a Saturday night. The service was terrible out the gate, but we overlooked it at first. One sprite was so flat it looked like water, and the server didn’t think that was a concern. Then when we got our drinks from the bar, it had been almost 15 minutes since sitting down. She proceeded to tell us she would be back shortly because she had stuff she had to do. About 15 minutes later, we finally got to order (there was no upselling or asking about appetizers) so I proceeded to order our appetizers when we ordered our dinner. Two of us had salads, they were served prior to the appetizers, which ok whatever, but we never saw the appetizers til 840ish…. Which, if you aren’t keep up with the math, is about 25 minutes after ordering them. At 9pm, we finally have our dinners, and they were less than stellar. My filet mignon was supposed to be medium, it was very much WELL, all the cheese on all of our plates were hardening, as they sat in a window too long and began to cool. The food was edible, and I probably would have said something right then and there, except it was an hour and 15 minutes from when we sat down and I didn’t want to wait another hour for new food. Our server had to be asked to get refills, and I think we saw her a total of 4 times from when we ordered to when she came back to take our check. My final breaking points were, at 9pm, the music just went silent and everyone was cleaning and vacuuming around us… to the point we thought they were closed at 9. (They don’t close til 11 on Saturday nights in the summer) and the check had a cash price and a credit price… differencing in roughly $5. As someone who has worked in the restaurant world and now has a business, I find it tacky. And I may have overlooked it if the service and food was even mediocre, but when you are charging the prices you have, for food that is honestly not worth half the price because it isn’t prepared properly

    Food was excellent. However the ambiance was not what we expected, it was very casual and quite noisy and the service was not very professional. Additionally the furnishings are beginning to show their age. Our waitress while not unpleasant, said very little simply dropping things off and quickly leaving. The overall experience did not meet our expectations we held for a birthday dinner celebration. While the food was excellent it was not worth the hour and a half drive each way. Because of the distance we will likely not be returning.

    Service was awful, the waitress rushed you, was not personable at all, the only time we were able to get something was to try and stop her as she was walking by. I could see if she was busy maybe, but she wasn’t. Definitely enjoyed the food and the atmosphere!

    Food good as always but wait was too long due to large parties that took precedence over small tables, so we got our appetizers an hour after ordering and our food on top of them and my prime rib was cold but I don’t send food back on busy Saturday nights.
