Alice B. restaurant and bar from award-winning chefs Susan Feniger and Mary Sue Milliken combines Southern California’s incredible seasonal bounty with Mediterranean-leaning flavors. The culinary vision is a collaborative effort between Feniger, Milliken and acclaimed Executive Chef Lance Velasquez.

This unique dining experience is located at Living Out, a luxury resort-style LGBTQ+ active senior community surrounded by spectacular mountain views. Inspired by the extraordinary life of Alice B. Toklas and her life partner Gertrude Stein, the restaurant establishes a vibrant space where culinary excellence, art, and community converge seamlessly.

We offer indoor & outdoor seating, plus bar seating. Dinner starts at 5PM. Bar menu starts at 4PM. Join us for Brunch on Sat & Sun from 10AM - 2PM & live music on select nights.

Mary Sue Milliken & Susan Feniger are the founders of Mundo Hospitality Group, including Border Grill, Pacha Mamas, BBQ Mexicana, SOCALO, and most recently Alice B.

As always everything was amazing! From the cocktails to the chocolate cake the food was perfection. The service is the best. Can’t wait for our next visit.

My husband and I were looking forward to dining at Alice B’s. We were so fortunate to have grabbed a cozy table for two on New Year’s Eve. What was exceptional was the fact that we were given the choice of either ordering from the fixed menu or the regular menu. On New Year’s Eve..I think that’s a real plus as far as we’re concerned. My husband and I both had the endive salad.. it was wonderful. Then he ordered the Bronzino and I ordered the Swordfish.. both were delicious.. prepared beautifully!! We had the broccolini with a peanut sauce that was amazing.. to me, that was dessert!!The restaurant.. is esthetically pleasing with beautiful lighting and comfortable seating. We also noticed a gorgeous bar as we walked in and within that area they had a grand piano where many people were seated around enjoying some awesome tunes. We’re looking forward to returning to Alice B’s.. Thank you to Tara for your wonderful service!!

The food was so delicious ! Like all of their restaurants, the combinations of spices and proteins are amazing. The service was top notch. Alice B. Is now my favorite place in the desert to dine.

The food was superb!!!! Our waitress was horrible. No olates. Then would bring plates and no knives. Then leave finished dishes on table. Never asked if we needed anything we sat in the bar area . The bartender and manager were great and helpful. Would go back again… sure the waitress was a one off!

The food was amazing. Service was off. Our waitress started off good but then didn’t come back to the table until our party of 4 asked for the check. We assumed she took a break.

Delicious food. Pork shoulder and shepherd’s pie were excellent. The soup was delicious and rich. Together, with the cheddar biscuits, was wonderful. Service was attentive and friendly. The ambience was a bit off. It felt like a dressed up Embassy Suites lounge. We loved the art but I also understand the location in an apartment complex makes this hard. I feel maybe more decor, like plants and larger and brighter art on the walls. Maybe different, less beige, upholstery on the benches. And lighter and more colorful walls could help.

Alice B is a new find for us! My sister sent us a gift card for Christmas and we dined there on Dec 27th 2024. We enjoyed the outdoor patio with its lovely mural of lily pads and mountain reflections. My husband recommends the steak Diane and the cheese biscuits are so good! We’ll be back to this gem!
