Alice B. restaurant and bar from award-winning chefs Susan Feniger and Mary Sue Milliken combines Southern California’s incredible seasonal bounty with Mediterranean-leaning flavors. The culinary vision is a collaborative effort between Feniger, Milliken and acclaimed Executive Chef Lance Velasquez.

This unique dining experience is located at Living Out, a luxury resort-style LGBTQ+ active senior community surrounded by spectacular mountain views. Inspired by the extraordinary life of Alice B. Toklas and her life partner Gertrude Stein, the restaurant establishes a vibrant space where culinary excellence, art, and community converge seamlessly.

We offer indoor & outdoor seating, plus bar seating. Dinner starts at 5PM. Bar menu starts at 4PM. Join us for live music on select nights.

Mary Sue Milliken & Susan Feniger are the founders of Mundo Hospitality Group, including Border Grill, Pacha Mamas, BBQ Mexicana, SOCALO, and most recently Alice B.

On all measures that matter, the restaurant was wonderful. The food so delicious, with a unique mix of flavors and the ambience also lovely. Our server was fantastic. There’s nothing that could be improved here.

Great restaurant looking forward to November when brunch will be back. Dinner tonight was delicious and delightful. The biscuits and honey are worth the trip. You will not be disappointed

The amberjack crudo and seeded chicken cutlet were terrific. Friendly and attentive service. I look forward to the outdoor dining patio re-opening.

Amazing dinner! The biscuits might have been the best thing we've eaten all year. All dishes were great though. We sat in the main dining area, which was more casual hotel vibe, whereas the lounge looked more like the darker restaurant vibe. Depends what you want. We'll definitely be back!

Dinner was great… Food and service were spot on. Restaurant is situated in a 55+ apartment community… Which is a vibe… But honestly, the only constructive piece of feedback I’d have for the operators is the lighting is awful. The LED lighting the dining room Was eye-singeing… Took away every last bit of intimacy diners would envision in a space like that. There were candles on each table despite the fact it was as bright as a grocery store. Really want to see this space succeed… But probably wouldn’t go back for dinner service until the lighting issue is resolved.

Alice B. is the absolute best restaurant in Palm Springs, hands down! Scott our server was excellent! The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The food was superb. We are used to the Culinary Scene in the Bay Area so I was impressed that finally we get a restaurant equal if not better than any restaurant in San Francisco. Everything we ordered was great. Food quality & presentation were excellent. Biscuits were exceptional. My branzino was superb with crispy skin, moist inside, perfectly seasoned. Service spot on. It has a reputation for being noisy but wasn’t too bad last night. They could use some acoustic sound absorption but we could hold a conversation so it wasn’t all that loud.

On my second visit to Palm Springs, a happy occasion was dining at Alice B. Our party of 3 all chose different appetizers, mine was the elegantly presented Yellowtail Amberjack Crudo, a lean taste with kumquat highlights. We all chose the Plancha Seared Beeler’s Pork Shoulder, a tender juicy ample portion, and circled with sumptuous butter beans, and a very richly flavorful Bourbon bacon jam. For dessert I chose the Salted Caramel Pot de Crème, the best I’ve ever had, and ecstatically crunched on the hazelnut brittle mixed in with the wonderful mouth watering creamy texture. Our server Karen was excellent in her attention to detail, her responsiveness to our many questions, especially with regard to my food allergies. I cannot commend her enough because she was the jewel that made our experience at Alice B not only sumptuous but also one where I felt totally cared for.
