It was an awesome experience. Food was simply amazing. Of course the ambience is good - after all it’s inside St Regis.

Very disappointed by the food. It was very average overall. How is the house bread the best thing we tried all night? The pluma tasted like a bucket of salt, the chicken was average, and the cauliflower wasn’t bad but I can still taste the garlic in my mouth. The hotel is beautiful and the staff was super attentive and nice, but I don’t think I will be coming back.

Overpriced for what is served. Don't mind paying $100 a head for a good dinner, but what was delivered was overall disappointing: If you can source better tomatoes in August, just a few blocks away from Dupont Circle farmers market, you probably should change your supply chain... Wine list: aspiration, designed to impress - but not good value Service: average at best

Overall, the Alhambra is an elevated experience that just misses the mark. The hummus and flatbread was amazing, roasted cauliflower dish is excellent, and the watermelon and tomato salad was refreshing. The aleppo chicken was very plain, and the peri-peri sauce that accompanied it had little to no flavor unfortunately. The charred pluma de iberico which I was most excited about, was oversalted, which sucks because I love salty/savory foods. The ambiance in the st. Regis is top tier, and worth the visit alone. I'd say just stick to the elevated bar next to Alhambra, but cocktails run about 20-27$ a drink. For the high prices, the food just didn't measure up.

Wonderful blend of Iberian and Middle-Eastern Arabic style food. Our waiter, Safian, was a delight, as was all of the other staff we interacted with. This is a top five spot in DC.

Lots of hype and the food *was* very good. But with a mostly empty restaurant and plenty of staff the service just wasn’t good. Was left alone, extra glasses left on the table and utensils not replaced after being taken away. And ultimately overpriced - I ordered a Hendricks martini with a twist and was charged $27. It was fine - but like gin, vermouth and a lemon twist fine. Not craft cocktail fine. Won’t go back.

We dined at Alhambra for DC Restaurant Week and loved it! The dining room was elegant as you might expect in a storied DC hotel ... a beautiful venue. The service was attentive but not overbearing. All of the staff seemed to help each other out. The hummus trio was delicious ... both the pita and the three types of hummus. Perhaps the highlight of the menu was the Charred Pluma de Iberico. Incredible flavorful and tender. The Watermelon and Tomato salad was also outstanding! For that matter we also enjoyed the swordfish, cauliflower and smoked chicken. All were well prepared. We particularly liked the way the food came out. Our two portions of the Iberica and the salad came out together. When we were done with that first serving, the swordfish, chicken, and cauliflower came out together. So we had both a protein and a salad/vegetable at all times. Well done! The desserts were a nice ending to the meal, both the Olive Oil Cake and the Coconut Rice Pudding. The the pudding had a coconut and white chocolate crust. When we cut through the crust, juice from the strawberries came out. Just exceptional!

While the overall experience was superb, I felt the ribeye was slightly overcooked and significantly overpriced, particularly since it came with no side dish. However, that said, we will return.
