Alexander’s Pub at Castle Green Hotel is a charming and inviting establishment nestled within the beautiful surroundings of Castle Green’s historic grounds. With its warm and cozy atmosphere, this pub exudes a sense of comfort and relaxation.

Sunday roasts are truly the best way to celebrate the end of the week! This British favourite certainly is our most popular dish in Alexanders.

Head on up to our woodland walk behind Alexander’s. The woods are filled with a blanket of bluebells in spring, plenty of sticks to get den building, and lots of nature for the whole family to enjoy. Finish off with a tasty treat in Alexander’s.

We were pleasantly surprised to see a South African dish on the menu. My wife is South African and I lived there for more than 30 years. We really enjoyed our Boerewors dogs, it was a great choice

BY SOME DISTANCE THE WORST ROAST SUNDAY LUNCH EVER.SEEMED TO BE SOME MICRO WAVED PRE PREPARED TYPE OF FARE WHICH DID NOT WORK.FELT SORRY FOR THE STAFF !

Poor service, including final round of drinks forgotten about. Rude member of staff with an inappropriate remark to me, in front of my Family. Did apologise after I called them out for it. It should not have been said in first place. Random chip found fin the bottom of a spicy cauliflower fritters. Random garden pea on top of broccoli with roast beef (no other peas Full almonds? in gravy on roast beef The place use to be full on Sundays/weekends and definitely should be on a special day like today…there must a reason it isn’t I found several reasons to avoid and go elsewhere for our next family occasion. Customer service needs a BIG review. How to speak to customers. Cleanliness also not great previous customers lipstick on drinking glasses. Very unlikely we’d return. As a family of locals, who been many times for many years, today was disappointing.

Unfortunately a large group of loud obnoxious & rude locals were very drunk & offensive & spoilt it for us. The food was nice but far too expensive £22 for a chicken breast! There was also a hair in my husband’s food but we didn’t say anything couldn’t wait to leave! Staff were very friendly
