                                                Slightly odd surroundings in a retirement complex, service was very good, food choice limited, but good quality albeit small portions. My wife is a vegetarian but wanted a roast without the meat and was offered a small extra Yorkshire pudding and was charged approx £20 for the meal and no extra vegetables which is a bit mean in my view!

                                                Lovely bar & room, tables well spaced, comfortable. Probably lovely views in daylight. Pleasant staff. Unfortunarly the food was quite poor. The menu was totally different to the one shown on Open Table and the food gave the impression of being assembled from catering company supplies arther than prepared by a chef, despite the very long wait between first & second courses.

                                                Did not know what to expect being a retirement complex but the food and service were superb would definitely go again......5 star if not better!!

                                                As usual, a friendly welcome; no fuss made about the booking mix up; well presented tables; the restaurant has a private members club feel: it was very busy but just had a lovely buzz of chatter without disturbing your meal, An excellent Sunday lunch - we had pork and lamb with freshly prepared vegetables and real gravy! Great service. Great value, The more courses the better the value. One of our firm favourites.

                                                Although rather unique being within a retirement village it's very much worth a visit. Fantastic menu and lovely friendly service.

                                                This is forth time I’ve been here after being blown away on the first occasion and sadly each time I’ve been, it’s been slightly worse. Meal still was good,just small things like presentation was different on same dish I’d had before,vegetables wasn’t what you ordered,pudding missing small components it had in previous. It didn’t spoil night and I’d go again but if it’s pushing fine dining things need to be consistent.
