We went to Aldo’s to celebrate my daughters birthday. Our experience was truly wonderful. Our table was ready when we arrived, despite arriving early. We were greeted and seated immediately. A great menu selection and wonderful ‘specials’ were available. We ordered two appetizers and separate entre’. They were all delicious. Our servers was prompt, attentive, and informative. Overall an excellent experience.

Our dinner was scrumptious! From the focaccia bread, shrimp Gorgonzola appetizer, filet mignon (cognac )for dinner and chicken franchisee… the star was the Napoleon dessert!

As always the food was excellent. Vinnie, our server, was relatively new and was outstanding. The dining room was decorated beautifully for christmas. And even with the piano playing , we were able to talk to each other without having to shout. A wonderful evening topped off with the best Napoleon.I've ever tasted.

Fantastic meal as always. The scalapini special was delicious, Vinny provided amazing service and Rob suggested the perfect wine pairing.

Aldos is the best Italian Restaurant in Tidewater. The food and service is extraordinary ! The setting is awesome with waiters treating you like you’re in Italy! The pizzas,salads ,veal dishes are terrific! The desserts are delicious! Colleen our waitress was the best ever!

It must have been our server's first day. At our table of five, three of the orders had to be sent back to the kitchen because they were not what we ordered. Further, correcting the problem led to waiting for some of our food to come back from the kitchen while the food we did have got cold. Server also had to be reminded that we had ordered a side dish after all other food had been received. Not happy; Aldo's is not one of our favorites.

First-timer and the service was top tier. Everyone is welcoming, sweet, and attentive. Enjoyed our Thanksgiving here and I loved the ambiance. Food was excellent. This is a great place for a dinner date or family outing.
