Albert's Standish is a stunning restaurant and bar which also has a private dining room and 2 private event spaces. The restaurant space can accommodate dining for 200 guests and a fabulous covered and heated outside dining terrace perfect for alfresco dining.

The venue has ample car parking and provides a picturesque environment for dining. The menu includes traditional British favourites like home-made Lancashire Cheese and Onion Pie as well as cuisine inspired by the family’s travels around the world.

The restaurant is open Tuesday - Sunday for lunch and dinner, Saturdays and Sundays are also open for breakfast.

The spaces accommodate anything between 20 and 250 guests. We offer a wide range of menus specially created by our chefs and inspired by the seasons using only the finest of ingredients. Flooded by natural daylight, all our spaces and the rooms are versatile and as equally suited to private parties and celebrations as they are to networking events, lunches and dinners. We offer a full event planning service and every event is tailor made for you. We can arrange all aspects for your event and provide all the finishing touches to make your event perfect.

    We are regular visitors. Staff as always were friendly and good but food was a let down. Side portion of fries was cold and needed to be changed and chicken curry was tough and had gristle. Left half of it. . No Morretti and ran out of Guinness ( national shortage for no issues there) . Sadly was our worst visit - Christmas and a birthday celebration

    Service was amazing, from the moment we sat down. Lovely ambience. I ordered a steak and it was cooked to perfection.

    Good atmosphere on Christmas eve, food was good but felt let down there was not any option to pay cash. Would have to think twice about coming in future for this reason

    Great meal with the family which included a 4 & 2 yr old. Fantastic table located next to the live entertainment. The food was delicious & the service by Jake impeccable.

    Excellent meal as always. Had the 2 course special which was fabulous and great to have it on on Christmas Eve. Served by Emma who was very attentive.

    Not been here for a while before this visit after some inconsistencies previously but enjoyed this time. Service had definitely improved and the food quality was good. Prices probably as expected with a couple of items seemingly overpriced e.g. garlic bread at £10. Will go again based on this latest experience and if standards are maintained we would probably return to being regular customers as it is quite local for us and it’s a pleasant environment. Can be noisy when busy but not enough to put us off.
