Albert's Standish is a stunning restaurant and bar which also has a private dining room and 2 private event spaces. The restaurant space can accommodate dining for 200 guests and a fabulous covered and heated outside dining terrace perfect for alfresco dining.

The venue has ample car parking and provides a picturesque environment for dining. The menu includes traditional British favourites like home-made Lancashire Cheese and Onion Pie as well as cuisine inspired by the family’s travels around the world.

The restaurant is open Tuesday - Sunday for lunch and dinner, Saturdays and Sundays are also open for breakfast.

Alberts Standish offers three unique spaces for all types of events from weddings, corporate dinners and presentations to private parties. The spaces accommodate anything between 20 and 250 guests. We offer a wide range of menus specially created by our chefs and inspired by the seasons using only the finest of ingredients. Flooded by natural daylight, all our spaces and the rooms are versatile and as equally suited to private parties and celebrations as they are to networking events, lunches and dinners. We offer a full event planning service and every event is tailor made for you. We can arrange all aspects for your event and provide all the finishing touches to make your event perfect.

Great food but I specifically went for 1item on the menus……… they had run out. Noise level very high but I knew it would be. Service very slow today. I have eaten here many times and had a great time . Today unfortunately not so. Will still come back as I do love the place

First time having the daytime lunch menu and we were very impressed. We often think the evening menu lacks variation but we really enjoyed the food. The service was also very good and the place was full, so was a good atmosphere. We will return soon

We are pleased that you enjoyed the service and venue but disappointed to learn that you weren't left wow'd by the food. Please accept our apologies for any upset caused as we do pride ourselves on our food so it's a real shame that we let you down. This restaurant is not good for coeliac/GF choices extremely poor. No separate fryer for chips so do not order the steak frites as you get boiled dry potatoes. Also very poor chefs who cannot do you a pepper sauce which can be easily done with corn flour. Very disappointing for Gluten free obviously food is not cooked by proper chefs but pre cooked as chefs can normally adapt dishes to GF. Nice restaurant , good atmosphere but you need to do better as more people are gluten free and need nice restaurants to eat. We had a nice afternoon with friends but the food and choices for coeliacs not brilliant. You might have choices on the menu but they are different to what is served to a non coeliac person which is bad, a lot of good chefs cook without flour etc so therefore the food should be the same quality throughout!

First time diners, very impressed. Beautiful setting, a birthday lunch. Surprised at how busy it was, glad we booked. Service was spot on, drinks came quickly, all the food was amazing, couldn’t fault anything. Enough time was left between courses, didn’t feel rushed. Will definitely be eating here again.
