Albert's Standish is a stunning restaurant and bar which also has a private dining room and 2 private event spaces. The restaurant space can accommodate dining for 200 guests and a fabulous covered and heated outside dining terrace perfect for alfresco dining.

The venue has ample car parking and provides a picturesque environment for dining. The menu includes traditional British favourites like home-made Lancashire Cheese and Onion Pie as well as cuisine inspired by the family’s travels around the world.

The restaurant is open Tuesday - Sunday for lunch and dinner, Saturdays and Sundays are also open for breakfast.

Alberts Standish offers three unique spaces for all types of events from weddings, corporate dinners and presentations to private parties. The spaces accommodate anything between 20 and 250 guests. We offer a wide range of menus specially created by our chefs and inspired by the seasons using only the finest of ingredients. Flooded by natural daylight, all our spaces and the rooms are versatile and as equally suited to private parties and celebrations as they are to networking events, lunches and dinners. We offer a full event planning service and every event is tailor made for you. We can arrange all aspects for your event and provide all the finishing touches to make your event perfect.

Dined here for the lunch menu Starter was nice - focaccia - no complaints Main - Asked for our fish 'lightly battered', came out as thick as you could get, so sent back and instead of a sorry from the waitress, she just said 'don't know what the other waitress put through'. Came back and it was still really thick but by that time my mother had ate her meal and i just had it...it was a tiny bit of fish, still in a large amount of batter which oozed with oil when i bit into it. Turned my stomach. Dessert - portions were TINY! We all actually laughed when the dessert came out as we all ordered the same, a 4 x 4cm cube of cheesecake. I get its a lunch menu, but either give decent portions and raise the price or just don't bother with a set menu! If us 3 ladies weren't full then i can't imagine what our partners would be like! They even had the audacity to add a 10% service charge on? When items are sent back and service has been terrible, really? This should always be an OPTIONAL tip at the end on the reader to ask whether you want to leave it.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal to celebrate my father's 91st birthday Food quality excellent Mum very fussy as she likes her fresh tasty veggies We had side orders of Swiss Chard and green beans which she thoroughly enjoyed Service very good Ambience lovely Would definitely visit again Thanks

We usually go to Albert’s in Worsley, but thought we would have a change. So pleased we did, what a lovely restaurant, beautifully set out, and the tables not as close as the Worsley restaurant. The food was fabulous as usual (whichever Albert’s you are visiting) the area on the way to the toilets is really lovely, and we took some lovely photos. Overall we decided it was a much more relaxed atmosphere than Worsley, which is always very busy and quite noisy. One point though. We were served a hard crusty piece of sourdough with our prawn cocktails. Not nice at all, and we had to ask for a piece of bread, which came red hot from the microwave. Is it too much to ask that a prawn cocktail (which was delicious) could be served with a piece of normal fresh buttered bread, traditionally brown. Overall a lovely Sunday evening, and all the Staff were super efficient.

The waiter who served us was brilliant. He had a great sense of humour and was very helpful. The lady who brought our bill, on the other hand, was very rude and basically told us to get off the table. I was very disappointed with this - it could have been done in a much nicer way.

Used the indoor seating area , very good service and menu choice. Prices could be lower for the starters.

We have been to Albert’s in Standish several times, the whole family love it from the service to the food everything is excellent and would recommend to anyone, definitely 5 Stars

The staff were nice and friendly and helpful, food was lovely and the ambience was really nice aswell. I would definitely go again.
