Albert's Standish is a stunning restaurant and bar which also has a private dining room and 2 private event spaces. The restaurant space can accommodate dining for 200 guests and a fabulous covered and heated outside dining terrace perfect for alfresco dining.

The venue has ample car parking and provides a picturesque environment for dining. The menu includes traditional British favourites like home-made Lancashire Cheese and Onion Pie as well as cuisine inspired by the family’s travels around the world.

The restaurant is open Tuesday - Sunday for lunch and dinner, Saturdays and Sundays are also open for breakfast.

The spaces accommodate anything between 20 and 250 guests. We offer a wide range of menus specially created by our chefs and inspired by the seasons using only the finest of ingredients. Flooded by natural daylight, all our spaces and the rooms are versatile and as equally suited to private parties and celebrations as they are to networking events, lunches and dinners. We offer a full event planning service and every event is tailor made for you. We can arrange all aspects for your event and provide all the finishing touches to make your event perfect.

    Dined here for years and yet tonight was the best service we’ve experienced to date. Superb from front of house to everyone that waited and assisted throughout our visit. Great food and ambiance as always.

    Had a really delicious Roast beef dinner with Yorkshire pudding , parsnips, carrots,roast potatoes and mash potatoes with gravy . Also horseradish sauce. Cheese and biscuits for dessert and coffee. Staff were very friendly and helpful .

    Great Sunday dinner, beautifully cooked. It was busy but plenty of well trained staff meant that we were served promptly.

    Delicious food, great timely and pleasant service. We enjoyed all courses and never felt rushed or bothered by staff. I often recommend Albert's to people I know.

    We regularly dine at Alberts Standish. As always the food was amazing. We had the 2 course special which was fabulous. Staff always attentive and helpful. A lovey touch yesterday afternoon was there was a party in celebrating a lady 100th birthday. When the cake came out, all the staff and restaurant joined in singing happy birthday and gave the lady 3 cheers, it was lovely, well done everyone.

    Excellent lunch for a birthday celebration. Great food and staff were friendly and attentive. A really enjoyable experience.

    My favourite restaurant…. Never fails to disappoint. The food is amazing, truly delicious. The staff are professional and attentive to every restaurant diner. Fabulous atmosphere, really buzzing with a happy energy and atmosphere.
