Albert's Standish is a stunning restaurant and bar which also has a private dining room and 2 private event spaces. The restaurant space can accommodate dining for 200 guests and a fabulous covered and heated outside dining terrace perfect for alfresco dining.

The venue has ample car parking and provides a picturesque environment for dining. The menu includes traditional British favourites like home-made Lancashire Cheese and Onion Pie as well as cuisine inspired by the family’s travels around the world.

The restaurant is open Tuesday - Sunday for lunch and dinner, Saturdays and Sundays are also open for breakfast.

Alberts Standish offers three unique spaces for all types of events from weddings, corporate dinners and presentations to private parties. The spaces accommodate anything between 20 and 250 guests. Food was excellent and service was great. All staff very attentive and friendly, particularly the young Hungarian waiter (didn't get his name). Only complaint was that service at the bar was slow.

A lovely meal to celebrate our anniversary. We both ate the lamb tump which was delicious

Amazing helpful staff as always. We eat here often but sadly the prawn cocktail starter was not up to scratch on this occasion as I have it often. However, the staff dealt with it perfectly and I was offered either a refund or an alternative starter. I opted for the sesame chicken which was beautiful. Nice atmosphere and our request of table 61 was honoured. Thanks guys, see you soon

We had a great time at Albert’s on a Saturday lunchtime. The service was friendly and efficient, the ambience was lovely and the food was faultless. All our party of 6 loved their starters, mains and desserts. I had the steak frites which was perfectly cooked and seasoned, a really enjoyable experience, would highly recommend.

Come all the way from Liverpool to come to Albert’s. My favourite place to eat so my husband brings me as often as we can, which considering the distance is a lot. I always order the fillet. This time I only get to choose one side instead of two. And also now the sauces do not include the jus. You probably just ignore this review and it’s such a shame as we even have a catch up with one of the waitresses we are there that often. My usual review is 5 stars on everything so sad that cutting down and getting rid of a sauce most good restaurants have. Won’t be coming back soon.

We arrived at 1.30 for a booking at 2. We were asked if we could wait at the bar. We were clearly forgotten about and had to ask the barman when we would be seated. He went over to the front desk to check. It was about 2.15 when we were seated. The service at the table was good and the place had a nice friendly atmosphere but the food portions, though nicely presented and tasty, were small and over priced.
