This is a 5 star restaurant through and through. Service is amazing! Food is absolutely fantastic! Todd, the owner is an amazing human, warm and welcoming! Absolutely recommend!

I guess the best way to describe it was underwhelming. The servers were all very friendly. My wife’s sushi was on par with other restaurants we frequent but not exceptional. My filet mignon was perfectly cooked and tasty, the sides were ok, again nothing special. My friends corn beef sandwich with fries seemed to be the hit of the night. The place has a weird vibe but maybe it was just me. The owner was walking around, mostly on his cell phone and seemed pained to be there. Don’t think I’ll go out of my way to return there.

Most horrendous experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Wait staff completely overwhelmed. Not friendly super stressed. Nobody took control over overwhelming response of reservations. Owner fired chef right in front of us a fight broke out. Things thrown people yelling cussing. Awful

This restaurant was trash. The food was horrible and the service was worse. We came the night of a concert and half the tables left without receiving their food.

We had 5:30 reservations prior to a concert at the MVP arena. At 6:00, when we hadn’t been seated but ignored by all of the staff members, I asked the host if we were seated would we have our food by 7. She said no. There were two groups in front of us that also waited 40+ minutes. Ended up getting a slice of pizza on the street.

Very disappointing, we never got our dinner nor did anyone around us, and we will never go back! This was our first visit, good reviews and the Albany political scene brought us there, and our experience was just the opposite. It was a concert night, so there was a modified menu which patrons would assume is to keep the flow going, meals out, and get us all to the concert on time. We sat down at 5pm sharp and by 6:30, with 10 minutes to spare, requested they bring us anything they could to have a snack before the show and to forget our dinner which was uncomplicated...we all ordered tacos. It took forever to get a drink and we offered to pour our own water to a random server walking by with a pitcher. Of importance to note is that the restaurant was not full and there were almost as many empty tables around us as seated, so I have no idea why it could not be managed, it was not packed. Our server, who was clearly overwhelmed, overworked, embarrassed and apologetic, was just lovely and we of course left him a generous tip...the awful experience was not his fault and we felt awful for him. Needless to say, the sushi appetizer we finally got and the sliders instead of our dinners were average, good, but not anything to brag about. Sadly, we had out of town guests we were excited to bring there and left personally embarrassed and this was not helpful in our efforts to promote Albany. Needless to say, we will never go back and they should have comped the drinks and food we did get, poor overall and I felt compelled to review which is disappointing because I don't enjoy publicly giving poor reviews.

Excellent experience as always. The sushi was phenomenal and the staff were attentive. Will be returning many times in the futures
