The restaurant/tavern Albany should have had decades ago: politically themed and owned by an astute political professional. A must place to visit when in Albany, and a haunt to inhabit for those in residence!

Great and unique place, fitting for NY’s once-glorious capital city. Restaurant is filled with NY political memorabilia, curated by prominent NY publicist/War Room-owner Todd Shapiro.Truly special, great menu/great ambience. Little more than a year old. But looks and feels like it goes back to Teddy Roosevelt’s time, if not earlier! Must visit for all who come to Albany.

This is a 5 star restaurant through and through. Service is amazing! Food is absolutely fantastic! Todd, the owner is an amazing human, warm and welcoming! Absolutely recommend!

I guess the best way to describe it was underwhelming. The servers were all very friendly. My wife’s sushi was on par with other restaurants we frequent but not exceptional. My filet mignon was perfectly cooked and tasty, the sides were ok, again nothing special. My friends corn beef sandwich with fries seemed to be the hit of the night. The place has a weird vibe but maybe it was just me. The owner was walking around, mostly on his cell phone and seemed pained to be there. Don’t think I’ll go out of my way to return there.

Most horrendous experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Wait staff completely overwhelmed. Not friendly super stressed. Nobody took control over overwhelming response of reservations. Owner fired chef right in front of us a fight broke out. Things thrown people yelling cussing. Awful
