Food was very good with virtually every dish being shareable. Loved the atmosphere. Service was excellent, food timely. Pricing is above average but if if shared, reasonable for a high end establishment. Great alternative to venturing downtown for a high quality meal.

My dinner was pretty good, I think the price was a bit expensive for what you get. I had the new pasta carbonara with the butternut squash. Everything was under cooked especially the butternut squash. Not sure if it’s cause it was a new item but it could’ve been better.

We decided to try Alara for our anniversary dinner. The restaurant is lovely and we're glad to have an option for a restaurant of this quality that doesn't require the drive downtown. We regretted not coming with more people to be able to try more!

Drinks were delicious, food was good - honestly the last time we went our food was superior to this time - the sea bass and potato wedges were good… as was the edamame hummus.. but the carrot hummus and fish tacos are better ;). Felt a bit pricy for the portions we got - but we did enjoy everything. The main dining room is definitely a better place to sit than the back room!

The main dining room is lovely. We were not seated in this section, but in a back room with eight tables, and free hotel breakfast vibes. Our server was so sweet, and always apologetic for the mediocre service. The food was okay…. We went to Alara for a birthday celebration, and probably won’t be back anytime soon.

Ambiance was great, food was excellent, and portions were huge so higher prices were justified. Don’t let the location throw you!

My husband and I visited for the first time to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The meal was impeccable and pre-reading the menu doesn't do it justice. Our server, Dylan, was the perfect host and took us on a "tour" so that we knew exactly what we were looking at and how much we should order. The portions are ENORMOUS...very, very sharable even for up to four people. We went home happily stuffed with leftovers for a whole new meal! So while the prices are higher than other nice restaurants, the quantity and quality of your food drives the value. We will be going back soon to share more plates and discover more flavors! 5 stars!

Alara was a great experience. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the staff was extremely friendly from the moment that we walked through the door. Our server was amazing, attentive, and personable and the food was absolutely delicious. It can be hard to find good seafood in Cincinnati but Alara exceeded our expectations.

We celebrated our anniversary there and wow, what a great choice. All around stellar experience. Will definitely dine there again.

Wonderful experience. Service by Savannah was top-notch. Let them explain the menu, listen to the recommendations, order a dish from each column, get a top-shelf cocktail. It was fun, delicious and the best date my husband and I have been on in months. Highly recommend!
