Our island is full of stories, none more inviting than the one told by the dish in front of you. Known for its modern take on Hawaiian comfort fare, Alaia embraces the community through its support of nearby Mauka Farms, telling their story through every plate, bite, and sip. Using unique, native produce such as apple bananas, Moloka'i sweet potatoes and tomatoes from Pele, a third generation farmer, our culinary team works in tune with the seasons. At Alaia we reap the bounty from the mauka to the makai, working with hand-selected fruits and vegetables from our farm to your table. We let the quality and simplicity of the ingredients speak for themselves. And we love what they have to say.

I left a longer review on another app, so I’m leaving this one short and sweet. Our server Conor as the absolute best. It cannot be stated enough how he made our dinner phenomenal the two times we ate here. He is incredibly caring and attentive and informative as he helps walk you through the menu. I’m always skeptical of a servers’ recommendations, but he suggested the Mile High Turtle Bay pie and it was so good we got it on 3 separate occasions. Thank you Conor, you deserve significant acknowledgment as you are an excellent server and helped make our time here at the Alaia exceptional. Thank you!!

The sunset setting and views were unbelievable. The food was well prepared and delicious but it seemed it could have more selections on the menu. The staff was overly abundant and very attentive. The manager visited our table to congratulate us on 50 anniversary of marriage. Excellent desert.

Food was delicious and service was wonderful!! We plan on eating here again before our vacation is over. We shared a tuna appetizer. Then we each had a beet salad. Mahi mahi dinner and tagliatelle w mushroom pasta were our main courses Everything was great!! We’ll be back for sure!!

We had a lovely dinner. Everything was tasty and the cheesecake reminded me of why cheesecake use to be my favorite dessert. The wine was good and the views during sunset are spectacular. We had just gotten engaged and this was a celebratory dinner and everyone made us feel so good! It is expensive but it was worth it.

Third visit in three weeks! Fabulous each time. The whole fried snapper was to die for! Only served on Saturday and Sunday! Service impeccable! Ambience terrific. Best restaurant on the North Shore! Sunset magnificent!

What a great restaurant and experience! It was a perfect place for my wife and I to watch the sunset, enjoy an amazing meal, and get away from the kids for a couple hours.
