Al Vesuvio is an authentic Italian Osteria and Pizzeria located in the heart of Dublin city. The restaurant recently moved from Mespil Road to Meeting House Square in Temple Bar, the capital's cultural quarter. We still serve a top range of quality pizzas, pasta, seafood, steak and vegetarian dishes and offer a full Italian food dining experience. Our cuisine is steeped in traditional Italian cooking and all of our pizzas are flame-baked in an open brick oven.

Excellent service. Friendly waitstaff. Food and wine both delicious. Good value for money. Two negatives are that one lady guest was disappointed by the small portion of ravioli for the main course, and another was disappointed by the lack of coffee in the tiramisu. Overall good experience. 8/10.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner here for my birthday. I give this place five stars across the board. Ambiance, food and service were all amazing!

it was fantastic! The food was authentic and full of flavor—perfectly cooked pasta and a rich, fresh tomato sauce. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, with friendly, attentive service. I highly recommend their tiramisu—it’s one of the best I've ever had! Overall, a wonderful dining experience. Will definitely be back!
