    Physically, this is a very nice restaurant. However, compared to other high end steak houses it's the most expensive in the area. I've been here many times before and the food is good, but not exceptional. On this visit I had the Halibut and it literally made me sick, and it took until the next afternoon to feel better. There are other options nearby that are as good or better, at a slightly better price point.

    Very good high quality food. This is an establishment and the people that come here know of the restaurant’s history and specialized service. They are doing a good job maintaining the owner’s legacy. Service was wonderful, very attentive and accommodating. For a Saturday night the music is turned up but not to loud u could not hold a conversation. Maybe it was louder by the bar. I would recommend this place for a special occasion. The steaks and seafood are prepared wonderfully. There is a reason this place is very busy. We had the surf and tuf, lobster tail, cowboy ribeye, and filet mińon Finished it off with the cheesecake though I would try the coconut creme pie as I was told it was a signature dessert. We just love cheesecake so it got out voted.

    Celebrated our anniversary last night as we have the last three years. This is our fave place to come for a special occasion.,food and service always top tier. But pricey. I recommend highly for a special dinner!

    The food is above average. The server was nice but not very professional for this level of restaurant.

    Al’s is always great for lunch or dinner. The food can be a quick salad or sandwich for lunch or an excellent steak for a great dinner. Food and service are always great!

    Always an amazing and great experience! Will always be the best steakhouse in Dallas. Highly recommend any cut of meat and the seafood tower.

    We have been here many times- however last night was a miss. It took over 2 hours to get our food for a table of 6. Salads were drenched in dressing, no bread service. Wine was decanted but rarely poured…this was a work dinner w clients from out of town - so less than ideal. Manager offered free desserts - however after nearly 3 hours of dinner, we were all ready to go. Service was fair - and left us wondering if this location has lost its edge.  perhaps taking less reservations and providing upscale service would be a better decision than having regular customers very disappointed.
