This is a superb restaurant serving original, tasty meals that remain straightforward. A.kithcen’s brunch is unique in Philly and reasonably priced. It’s a go to restaurant for us.

I booked a table for our anniversary and noted that in our reservation. It wasn't acknowledged by any staff which is fine but from a nice restaurant you would expect details to be noticed. Additionally my wife is pregnant and I mentioned that to the waitress when asked about dietary restrictions. When ordering the tasting menu we weren't advised that the fish appeared to be a ceviche style that wasn't completely cooked. Little attention was paid to our table by the server. Not very satisfied for a $200 dinner.

Service was fantastic. Professional team there kept us happy with drinks and attention. We ordered the chicken liver toast, which was very well prepared, but the accommodation of pears along with the chicken liver was not a great combo. I was excited that there was a squid ink pasta with seafood addition to the menu. I have to say it was almost an edible. There was so much salt. I actually started dehydrating at the table. I hope this was an exception, but it was intense. Overall, the experience was satisfactory, but I don’t know that we will return

As usual, excellent food, nice choices with periodic new choices. Excellent service. Nice ambience. A little loud for such a small space, but tolerable considering the rest of the package.

Fairly small space, with a small bar. My wife and I sat at the chef’s counter. Server was pleasant and professional, cocktails were unique and tasty, and the entrees were delicious. Limited menu makes for easy selection. Would definitely eat there again.
