The food was okay. Our table was getting dripped from the ceiling non stop due to condensation. You could see mold in the ceiling as it is a constant issue not addressed. WAY overpriced for some items. The server was excellent, knowledgeable and attentive.

Wow! Found this on Google. The sushi was exquisite. We had the toro tartare, edamame with kimichi butter, fatty tun nigiri and toro nigiri. The lychee-tini and summer of love cocktails were excellent. Travis was server for the night. His recommendations were on point. He service was exceptional. He was very engaged with us. Please ask for him, you will not be disappointed!

We dined there for my husbands birthday. They hosted a Caymus wine dinner featuring off-menu dishes. It was incredible. The attention to detail, flavors, and presentation of all the dishes were impeccable. Will definitely return to enjoy a regular dinner service. And thank you to our servers for making my husband’s birthday special.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. Not only is the food outstanding but the wait staff is phenomenal. They always take such good care of me with my gluten intolerance.

We decided to celebrate our 10th anniversary by trying Akira Back to make it special and memorable. One of the most delicious meals, pricey but worth every penny of it!! Flavorful and exquisite!! My favorite the “protein “ roll.. we are locals and definitely will be back Jose our waiter was on point! Knowledge and service - he was superb! Staff synchronized to details. Great job AkiraBack!!

Fabulous restaurant at the Ray hotel. While this is indeed an Asian flare restaurant, a couple more non-fish options would help!

Upon your next visit, if you did not get the chance to try it, we highly suggest the Cow Wow Roll. It is a signature sushi roll by Chef Akira Back that has no fish and is made with Braised Short Rib and Asian Slaw. Another very popular dish is the Filet Tobanyaki. It comes on a steaming hot plate with Prime Filet, Mixed Mushrooms and doused in Umami Sauce. You can't go wrong! We hope you get the chance to try it and we look forward to welcoming you back soon for another delicious meal.
