L'établissement AKASHA est un restaurant/bar/café proposant une cuisine américaine nouvelle avec de la nourriture réconfortante aux grandes saveurs et aux ingrédients durables, aussi bien pour les carnivores que pour les herbivores. La chef traiteur Akasha Richmond apporte sa vision culinaire dans son propre restaurant de quartier occupant le bâtiment d'époque Hull dans le centre-ville de Culver City. En gardant les principes de la durabilité à l'esprit, les arches en acier, bois, béton et brique d'origine du bâtiment ont été restaurées, tandis que les matériaux pour la décoration s'allient avec la modernité des années 1970 pour exsuder une atmosphère accueillante et animée. La boulangerie artisanale présente des choix aussi bien sucrés que salés, ainsi que du café issu du commerce direct torréfié localement. Le bar, qui compte 20 sièges, met l'accent sur des cocktails à jus frais, ainsi que sur des spiritueux biologiques et de qualité, les bières et le vin. Tout le menu est disponible sur place ou à emporter.

Join us on Sunday, April 13th for our annual Passover Seder. The Seder will be led by our friend Rabbi Mark Borovitz. Passover food rules will be observed and the meal is prepared "kosher style" with gluten-free and vegetarian options. The menu includes selected wines and children' tickets include grape juice. The reception at 6:15 pm with the Seder to follow. This prepaid reservation is $160 per person plus a 22% service charge & 10.25% tax. Children under 10 are $75 plus 22% service charge & 10.25% tax. Please be sure to include any information related to allergies in the "Notes" section when booking your reservation. We are unable to accommodate changes to the menu without advance notice. Husband and I went to get a bite before a play at the Kirk Douglas. We had a reservation for a table but decided to sit at the bar. The service was fast and friendly. Wednesday is fun because bottles of wine are half off so it's a great deal. We had the tandoori chicken wings, brussel sprouts and the smashburger. Everything was delicious, perfectly seasoned and very fresh. We will definitely be back soon!

I have eaten at the bar before and really liked the food but last night I ordered the hamburger for the first time and it was very disappointing. A thin fatty patty on a doughy bun.

Food was good. Service was good. Didn’t have water refills after bill was paid, though. Restaurant was cleared out by that time. Be aware of kitchen love that they add on the bill before the tip.
