Amazing omakase experience. Warm and welcoming staff in a chic yet still comfortable space. Front of house and chefs coordinated effortlessly to create an unforgettable evening. Highly recommend especially given the more affordable price point for sushi of this quality.

My husband and I had a great time during our seating last night! The food was spectacular. So fresh, so flavorful, so creative. The Aji team created such an amazing experience for us and the other guests. We love an omakase and will absolutely return and will bring family and friends. Don’t sleep on this spot.

This was my third omakase in Chicago and I was blown away by the hospitality and attention to detail. Each course was well-though out and well-executed. The staff was very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions about ingredients, flavor profiles, and the Chicago dining scene in general. The environment was intimate and perfect for a date night - I brought flowers for my date and the staff was thoughtful enough to bring a vase out. Couldn't give a stronger recommendation!

Our first Omakase experience. The food was excellent and the staff was very attentive. The restaurant is small, only 10 seats, and the staff treated everyone as a special guest. We would recommend Aji for anyone looking for a great Omakase experience.

What a gem of a place. The fish was incredible - each dish was thoughtfully prepared and the protein was in the forefront of each course. Portions were filling. Setting was very intimate and chatted with the chefs while they worked but they gave you your privacy as well. My partner and I would come here every week if we could.
