Agua Viva is one of the flagship restaurants in Chef José Andrés’s collection at Conrad Los Angeles. At this chic rooftop restaurant, Chef Andrés effortlessly weaves vibrant Asian flavors with Latin American influences, all while paying homage to his home country of Spain.

Our menu features diverse global flavors that reflect the true melting pot of LA. Designed to be shared, our dishes are as eye-catching as they are vibrant, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. As you decompress in our breezy dining room, enjoy sparkling platters of oysters; a bright, refreshing Young Coconut Ceviche studded with avocado and mango; Chef Andrés’s iconic Txule Burger, made with dry-aged ribeye; and whole fried sea bream, with fresh herbs and mojo verde.

Located within Conrad Los Angeles, a part of the stunning Frank Gehry-designed The Grand LA, Agua Viva features a promenade, bar area, and upper and lower dining rooms with terrace views of the mountains.

We stop at Agua Viva for lunch after our visit to The Broad. The food was exceptional, our server was friendly and attentive, and the view is nice. Great spot!

Beautiful rooftop, not many shaded tables. Very small plates, absurdly expensive for what you get. Service very slow. Only went because of chef Andre's fame but not worth it , only if your company is paying.

Agua Viva was the best restaurant experience I had all year! The views and design all create a gorgeous ambiance, and every dish we ordered was superb. The guacamole, crab croquettes, and dessert profiterole were stand outs. We came for a pre show dinner, but all agreed that this restaurant alone was well worth a night out! The service was wonderful as well, our server Tiffany made sure the birthday we were celebrating felt special. Move this restaurant to the top of your list!

Our server Marissa and entire team were great. It was a hot day and they were constantly refilling our waters. There was a drag show and enough can not be said on how amazing it was. The host Jamila was very interactive and hilarious. The performances the queens gave were so fun and energetic.

As always the food was incredible. What made this visit even better was the service, but not in an obvious way. Our server, Jimy, was on top of everything from the moment we arrived. Unfortunately for Jimy and us, the guests who were seated next to us about the time we received our starters were a complete pain. Complaining about prices, asking for odd modifications - to Jose Andrea recipes! - and generally being incredibly unpleasant. Jimy handled it all calmly, as did the manager (didn't get his name) who ultimately came over to help. They both offered us apologies and other consideration, which we declined. While the other diners certainly were a negative influence on our experience, the way Jimy and the manager handled the situation was text book hospitality at its finest. And the gazpacho...thanks for another wonderful experience.
