The Brasserie has become synonymous with the North End of Halifax, the region’s most vibrant food destination, serving locally sourced product in an iconic neighborhood.

French inspired food in a stylish and vibrant atmosphere, the Brasserie (est. 2013) focuses on sustainable seafood & ambitious sophisticated cooking where all breads, jams, sauces and desserts are made in house.

Sit on the butcher block bar and enjoy a glass of wine after work, a bar snack, or a full menu during dinner hours. The exposed brick lounge offers a cozy nook for quiet conversation. Further inside the Brasserie is an open kitchen where one can sit at the counter and enjoy the inner workings of the Brasserie culinary operation. Our lively upstairs patio seats 50 and is open during the sunny summer months for cocktails & cuisine.

We welcome you for Brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 11:30- 2:30 with a snack menu between 2:30-4pm and we are open 7 days a week, 4pm to close.

Agricola Street Brasserie can accommodate up to 25 guests for private dining in the mezzanine overlooking the open kitchen. Perfect for a private dinner party, a christmas event or a dinner lecture, it’s tucked away enough to be private but open enough to still feel a part of the dining activity. For larger events we are able to reserve the entire dining room, mezzanine and patio!

We were among the first to arrive. Service was wonderful and the brunch was as well. No complaints. Need to return soon.

We got seated quickly and on the rooftop patio which was requested on the reservation. Server was friendly and they accommodated an extra 4 people showing up with no issues. Food was delicious and drinks were tasty. The only issue was the slowness of service - it took forever for our first drink order and then getting food was very slow. We were there almost 3 hours total which was way longer than expected.

We had a wonderful brunch on the rooftop patio. The food was amazing and the service was outstanding. I highly recommend the Eggs Benedict . Beautiful way to start a Sunday!

What a treat to visit this restaurant! Our waiter provided great service with support from other employees pitching in as needed. Our food was delivered promptly and every dish was absolutely delicious, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts. My dad says the duck was the best he's EVER had which is impressive given that he is 81 years old! Wine and drink list was excellent with lots of choices, including a custom non-alcoholic drink for our designated driver. Atmosphere was lovely. There was a big engagement party taking place upstairs which made it a little louder than ideal, but it wasn't intrusive. All in all, a night to remember! Thanks :)

Very nice overall but service was terrible. Meal took almost 60 minutes and our server never came to check on us once. We had to go to the bar to order drinks ourselves. Enjoyed but wow…. Need to step it up

Busy night, only two in the kitchen. Food took a while but everything tasted great. Bread crumb on the cucumber salad seemed out of place.

In the upper patio, one young person to look after all food and drinks for a busy 26 degC night is madness. I felt really sorry for this person. Bar Staff, Kitchen Staff, Hostess, etc. all came upstairs, and did nothing to help this person. It was a crap show and another place to take off my list in Halifax. I do not like waiting 30 minutes to order food whilst tables sat after us are being served before we can even order. Typical of North America though. I mean, who calls a main course an Entrée? Do you understand the word?
