The Brasserie has become synonymous with the North End of Halifax, the region’s most vibrant food destination, serving locally sourced product in an iconic neighborhood.

French inspired food in a stylish and vibrant atmosphere, the Brasserie (est. 2013) focuses on sustainable seafood & ambitious sophisticated cooking where all breads, jams, sauces and desserts are made in house.

Sit on the butcher block bar and enjoy a glass of wine after work, a bar snack, or a full menu during dinner hours. The exposed brick lounge offers a cozy nook for quiet conversation. Further inside the Brasserie is an open kitchen where one can sit at the counter and enjoy the inner workings of the Brasserie culinary operation. Our lively upstairs patio seats 50 and is open during the sunny summer months for cocktails & cuisine.

We welcome you for Brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 11:30- 2:30 with a snack menu between 2:30-4pm and we are open 7 days a week, 4pm to close.

Agricola Street Brasserie can accommodate up to 25 guests for private dining in the mezzanine overlooking the open kitchen. Perfect for a private dinner party, a christmas event or a dinner lecture, it’s tucked away enough to be private but open enough to still feel a part of the dining activity. For larger events we are able to reserve the entire dining room, mezzanine and patio!

It was our first visit to the Brasserie but it won’t be our last the food was so good our server was awesome and the atmosphere spectacular

Had a lovely experience here. A complimentary drink on arrival as it was our anniversary, the charcuterie board we had for starter was excellent and all local product. SteakFrites for main was well cooked and the dessert was delicious and beautifully presented. (Opera Cake) Cocktails were interesting and mine (BlackPearl) was very good. Service was efficient and attentive and all in all an excellent experience. The only minor downside was it was very dark in there, so it was difficult to read the menus and see the food properly. So it would have been nice if it had been just a little bit lighter. All in all - highly recommended.

The food and service are consistently good at Agricola Street Brasserie. The burger is out of this world. We noted that it was our Anniversary on our reservation and they brought over a complimentary glass of champagne for each of us, which was so thoughtful and appreciated.

We ate on the balcony and food both the service and food outstanding. We also had my one year old grandson and found the balcony kid friendly in that he could walk around when he had sat long enough. Overall a great restaurant which was given to us as a recommendation (we are from Toronto) and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend.

We went for brunch. A lot of different options to choose from. The food was delicious and the sangria even better!

Had a great experience as I usually do, went with my boyfriend to celebrate our 12th year anniversary. The food was delicious.

Nice atmosphere however service was slow. Two of us had mussels and they had potential to be good but it completely lacked seasoning - almost as though no salt was used at all when prepping the dish so it missed the mark for us. My hubbie had the chicken and loved it and one person had the burger and fries and loved it.
