The Chefs

Welcome to Agra Indian Masala, crafted by the dedication and culinary passion of our chefs, Sharif Mamu Ji and Om Bahadur Ji. Tandoor expert, Om Ji, has worked for several years in the restaurant business and has an excellent knack or knowing the needs of customers.

For over 30 years, business partners and brothers, Sharif Mamu Ji and Kamal harbored a dream to open their own restaurant. This dream has driven them to remarkable lengths, including daily travels from New York to Red Bank. Each day, they journeyed with a single goal in mind: to build Agra Indian Masala from the ground up into a space where community and culture converge over shared meals.

Here, every dish tells the story of their hard work and commitment to sharing authentic Indian cuisine with the Red Bank community.

Nirmala’s greeting at the door started our night off perfectly:’d adding to the new, modern, super clean decor in a cute Red Bank space. Our wait staff offered wonderful suggestions ( who knew I would love the mango drink so much)? Delicious food, we want to try the tandoori next.

Overall I would highly recommend. Food was excellent. Staff was very friendly and helpful when deciding on menu, though took a while to receive our food. Most likely because it was a very busy Friday night and holiday.

Excellent Indian food! Great menu choices; wonderful service. We were so happy to see white meat chicken (rather than dark meat) selections. We will return!

We've been to many Indian restaurants and Agra is one of the best! Every entree and appetizer was delicious, plus we've never had better naan anywhere. The service is always so friendly and accommodating, which always makes our dinners even more enjoyable. You won't be disappointed!
