We live on the Eastern Shore and always try to get back to Agave when in the area. We like it because it is Mexican but always with a twist that makes it more interesting!

We have been to Agave in Lewes numerous times in years past and it was delicious. The agave on route 1 is not as good except for the margaritas. They were the same. The service was slow and unorganized. Dinners came out staggered with no apology. The restaurant itself was dirty. The cushions we sat on were filthy, the table was not wiped down well and the floors need a good cleaning. Wonder what the board of health may say. Certainly hope the kitchen is clean. Needless to say we were quite disappointed.

Food was excellent, great margaritas, good service, so very noisy - difficult having conversation. Buffer material needed on ceiling to help alleviate loud noise and and ensure a better dining experience.

It was very loud in the restaurant and food was just fair for the price. The service was outstanding. Not sure I would go back to this location. I think the one in Lewes was better when I was there 2 years ago.

I’ve asked how the tables were arranged especially for deaf people to see each other. The waiter was great and the service was great. Thanks for letting my wife to enjoy her birthday dinner!

The restaurant was not sold out, yet our waiter felt the need to pressure us into ordering when we were not ready. We felt rushed. The drinks and food were very good. It is extremely loud in there but I knew that being a return customer.

As always the meal was excellent and the grande Jocelyn’s margarita was very tasty. Been dining at Agave since it opened and have never been disappointed. Their classic filet/chicken fajitas for two is now available for 1 so we can explore other meals along with that fabulous dish.

The food was great! They have a new menu and I was able to make a reservation. The waiter was wonderful as well! Great experience. Also, I usually get the nachos, and was able to get a personal size and they have a kids menu now.
