Excellent location, our waiter, Cesar, was attentive but not intrusive and Cadillac Margarita was perfect. View from our seat was spot on overlooking the street below during Art Walk. Food was very good but pricey for the portion size and lack of side dishes with our order selections. Would go again!

What a disappointing experience. We were looking so forward to eating here because it was recommended by a local (we actually cancelled a rez at tres gallos to come here). Turns out they were going through renovations so we were forced to a table that became a walk through for all staff and it was very loud. When we asked to move we were put by their very stinky bathrooms…so we left. The waitstaff and management that started friendly became not so friendly when we asked to move to the other part of the rooftop claiming they had reservations there (no way they did, I looked at their reservation sheet). So I have no idea about their food. Maybe when they finish renovations it will be better. By the way, we weren’t the only people to leave…two couples followed us out.

A boutique restaurant serving all kinds of exotic stuff. Every plate is to die for mine was the oysters!

This is our 5th time dining at Agave. We love the food, ambience, and service. But on this evening they missed on all aspects. It was a disappointing meal. Could be a 1 off experience, so we give it another try. We are not ready to give up on the charming place.

Absolutely wonderful. Service was prompt, personable and knowledgeable. Food was the best we’ve had in San Jose del Cabo…truly fantastic!

Romantic dinner on a Sunday night. The rooftop view is amazing. Our waiter was super friendly and accommodating. The food was very good. This is a definite romantic date night. We will be back.

Very nice terrace with afternoon sun set. The food and service are really good. Oysters, Porterhouse, Coliflor, and fish (totoaba) all well done in the wood oven. Cork fee $400 pesos per bottle.
