Booked a reservation for a party, table wasn’t ready when we arrived. and then we only had one server for 15+ people. We was there 3 hours total, very slow and at the end everyone’s checks were incorrect and had to wait an additional 30 minutes waiting for a correction while it’s like 6 employees just standing around. Manager no where in sight, will not come back again.

The three tacos I chose for my flight were excellent—unique and delicious. Out server was great, juggling a backed up bar/kitchen nicely. The host took the time to give us a run through of the menu/beverages upon seating, which was nice since it was our first visit. Decor is fantastically eclectic and the music was upbeat but not overwhelmingly. Would absolutely recommend a visit!

Been to agave & rye twice and loved it both times. Only flaw on this visit is that our food was not hot when it arrived :(

No one came to our table for over 45 minutes after the manager when he first sat us said who our server is and when they would be there

I made a 12 person reservation for a casual business dinner more than a week in advance. I wouldn't recommend it for large groups or for people looking to get in and out in a reasonable amount of time. Pros: -Creatively decorated location -Innovative sounding menu -The double shell is interesting (soft shell taco and hard shell) Cons: -While the staff seemed to be working quite hard, it took an extraordinary amount of time to receive one round of drinks and appetizers. There were (maybe) 2 waiters, no bussers. Tables with dirty dishes stayed out for 30+ minutes on other tables. -Mixed alcoholic drinks were very sweet. -The complex tacos looked good, but everyone had overly filled up on chips and dip, so very few people were able to eat them all. While this was on us, it took a long time for the food to get out and we were hungry. -The tacos were low in flavor, had too many ingredients for toppings, and the toppings themselves were very large. You couldn't get a good bite with all of the flavors, so you'd get a large bite of topping with no protein. -I'd avoid any taco with mac & cheese in it.

We had a large group of 16. We met in the bar first and had great service. The staff was patient with us while we all gathered and got ready to seat. We were slow moving because we were visiting and the restaurant staff was so accommodating. It was a great experience and handled wonderfully. Thank you so much.
