Omakase is a form of Japanese dining in which guests leave themselves in the hands of the chef and receive a meal which is seasonal, elegant, artistic, and uses the finest ingredients available. Whole table participation required. No dietary restrictions or allergies for this offering at this time, and no substitutions.

Our Omakase experience consists of 7 unique courses, which includes zensai, sashimi, tempura, grill, nigiri, soup, and kanmi. We also offer an additional premium nigiri option, and drink pairing. Please allow upwards of a two hour dining experience.

Perfect meal as always. Service was great and covid precautions were obvious but didnt detract from the ambiance or welcoming feel.

With all of the COVID restrictions most doors were open, which made it very chilly. Totally understand and want to be sure all restaurants + businesses are following, but a heads up would be great, so we could dress appropriately. Food was amazing as always! Love Afuri!

So so so yummy! Highly recommend! And they take the pandemic seriously, which is a plus in our books.

It was incredibly cold and not very comfortable. It would have been nice to know ahead of time. I completely understand with COVID however is was less than enjoyable with a $170 tab to boot.

Generally an amazing spot HOWEVER we reserved indoor seating because we thought we would be seated indoors! And although we were they have the huge garage doors open for circulation. I totally understand and can even appreciate the safety measures they’re taking but there WAS NO FOR-WARNING! So my bf and I got there dressed to sit in a temperate room, not to be freezing cold. We ended up getting our food to go and had a quick appetizer while we waited. This is completarla unacceptable. There should be some sort of warning on here when you book. And the host told us we missed it (and was very uppity and rude) that it was on the info section here but it was NOT. We won’t be back until after COVID.

I was so pleased with my recent lunch at Afuri. Multiple doors were open for ventilation. The host explained the mask policy and the next occupied table was probably 20+ feet away. It was so nice to enjoy exceptional food in the restaurant and to feel safe. Thank you!

Food was top notch, but some favorites (miso soup, edamame, California roll) were not on the menu. I understand that it may be beneath a fancy place to feature such common items, and I didn't think much of such elitism. Ramen was great, but not the best we've tasted. Afuri did a great job in terms of COVID prevention (distancing, ventilation, mask policy). However, they seemed to overdo it with the distancing requirement for outside tables. All the 4 outside tables should have been available, I believe.

The host came out after we were done eating to tell us to move our car because it was too loud and the exhaust was coming in to the restaurant...? We were just sitting in the car for less than five minutes... just SITTING THERE with the engine running after we ate there deciding where to go and they tell us to leave? Such a rude, weird experience. I’ll never go back because of that.
