A longstanding tradition at Hotel Vancouver, Notch8 is delighted to welcome guests for Afternoon Tea service from Wednesday through Sunday!

If your tiny tot is joining, we offer a Children's Tea featuring kid-friendly finger sandwiches, scones, and sweet treats. Afternoon Tea is served from Wednesday through Sunday only.

We are pleased to offer options catering to guests with specific dietary restrictions such as gluten-free, as well as dietary preferences including vegetarian diets. Please notify us at time of booking and we will be delighted to facilitate.

There is a 90 minute time limit for each reservation, if you have any questions or concerns prior to your visit please let us know.

First time coming here for high tea and I really enjoyed it. Service was amazing and the staff were so friendly. The seasonal theme was very nice. I’d return to try the unique seasonal items.

Indulging in the festive flavours of Lunar New Year with a special afternoon tea at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver’s Notch8. From savory bites to sweet treats, it’s a delicious way to celebrate! We both enjoyed Gold Mountain tea with a unique of jasmine and earl grey. Marilou took care of us and can’t wait to see her again!

An excellent way to start the Lunar New Year. Great marketing and creative ways of binding the Western and Eastern cuisine together, in addition to the decor, reflecting on the diversity in Vancouver! Crisps to the management for thinking outside the box! The service providers are knowledgeable, experienced, proficient and personable! Thank you!

Service is great! But the place where the afternoon tea was set is a bit shabby with plastic blossoms mixing Chinese and Japanese cultural elements. Because of the limited space, the noise of customers’ conversation was more than itself.

Having tea at the Hotel Vancouver is a nice experience because you are seated in the unique area at the back of Notch 8 Restaurant. The ambiance and the setting makes this experience worth it.
