Located on the lobby level of Powerscourt Hotel Resort & Spa, the Sugar Loaf Lounge is perfect for meeting, greeting and watching the world go by. Serving traditional Afternoon Tea daily and cocktails each evening, the Lounge is a haven of hospitality. Wonderful time! The space is beautiful, relaxing and has a wonderful view. The teas, sandwiches and treats delicious. Service was wonderful.

High tea with stunning view! Elegant (but not stuffy) gorgeous venue for high tea; view was beyond perfect! amazing all around!

Overall my experience with afternoon tea was pleasant, the food was lovely, well presented and plenty of options of teas, coffees & cocktails, however there is some room for improvement on the service front. I found that once you are presented with your desert course, you are really left to your own devices. No one was checking in to take further drinks orders which was a little frustrating especially as there was plenty of staff, but noone taking notice of those looking for service. However, I must add the staff where extremely pleasant to deal with and delivered a top quality customer service when dealing & interacting with us.

Myself and My wife celebrated our 28th anniversary with a champagne afternoon. A very relaxed afternoon with a delicious 3 tier tea. Loved the scones , after that the sugar levels increased until we could eat no more and happily the friendly staff put in a container for us to take home. Staff from the initial greeting to the end were efficient and friendly.

Spent a lovely few hours enjoying afternoon tea here to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday. They even presented her with a birthday plate with candle and chocs, etc... Loved the sparkling tea they served - highly recommend if you are driving! The service was excellent - definitely recommend. A lovely setting.

The tables are too small. It would be better if there was a side table for food giving more room for teapots
