The tea hour is always an intimate one; a time for friendly chats amid pleasant surroundings. Join us on Saturdays and Sundays in Hawthorn's Dining Room, where you’re invited to relax with our traditional afternoon tea menu of delicate tea pastries, dainty finger sandwiches, and oven-fresh scones to enjoy with a selection of LOT 35 Fairmont loose leaf teas.

Service was top notch; super friendly, knowledgeable and timely. Some of the afternoon tea food offerings were a little weak on flavor but overall most were good. Loved the atmosphere and the live music.

Very cute Tea event but the price is a little high for what you get. I’ve been to a few other ones where the 1st person is the higher price and every add on person is half price. At fairmont it is full price per person. Cute experience just the price I think could be improved.

A very nice afternoon tea. They were able to accommodate vegetarian and gluten-free. If you park in the parkade, you can walk the plus 15 the entire way to the hotel restaurant giving you the opportunity to dress up year round

Lovely service. Tea was excellent as were the baked goods. The sandwiches could be a little more exciting, but they were tasty. It was quite expensive for what you got. Overall was a pleasant afternoon.

First impression was that it would have felt much better to have tea with a white table cloth. A brown standard table made it feel kind of cheap. Food average. Service average. Definitely not worth 80 pp. wouldn’t go for tea again.

I had an amazing experience, I forget our server & bar tenders names. They were so nice and gave us a free drink because our friend got spilt on, which was extremely kind and we never expected that. Thanks for giving me the best birthday :)

Afternoon tea at the Hawthorn is the standard for all high teas. Amazing service, ambience and I love their tea sets. All unique and a beautiful setting to dine in. Sandwiches were bigger than normal this time around and I left feeling very full. We came for a birthday celebration and it was very memorable and we had a great time. Shout out to Riza (spelling?) who was the best server!

The Tea service was great until I ordered two glasses of wine Chardonnay without the menu. I didn’t think to much about it because I have done this at many top tier restaurants. Get to the cheque and I see that the glasses of wine were $40 per each so $80 total. Which I was not advised beforehand and when I looked at the wine list online later I see there ways another Chardonnay for $18 per glass. Very disappointed. Will not go back after that.
