Join us for a traditional British afternoon tea, featuring a taste of ROAST classics!

Our afternoon tea comprises of 3 courses including finger sandwiches, savouries, traditional scones served with jam and clotted cream, and true British cakes. It is served alongside a great selection of tea.

We offer the perfect environment to enjoy the great British tradition of afternoon tea whilst looking down on the hustle and bustle of London’s oldest market place.

We are glad to offer the following alternative afternoon tea menus, with a minimum of 48 hours notice prior to your reservation: Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten Free, Halal.

Our afternoon tea is available Friday to Sunday from 11:45am to 5:30pm.

The menu relies on only the freshest produce so is often subject to change.

Nice Atmosphere The food was a little dry But the desserts alot better presentation good Champagne good Tea good Very busy and noisey Service could of been a bit better I've had better for less cost

Great afternoon tea with friends! I've been to a few high teas/afternoon teas in London and this is one of the best. Previous experiences have been expensive and not value for money like Roast. Extensive selection of teas but I would avoid the deal with the glass of champagne as that does add £20 which I think you can pass on. Beautiful venue, air conditioned and very instagrammable!

Me and my friend went for a halal brunch, the ambience was wonderful and welcoming and the food was delicious! Can’t wait to go back for the roast

Loved afternoon tea with unlimited Prosecco. Glasses were topped up for the full 90 minutes and food was lovely. I would 100% book again.

Absolutely amazing! From start to finish. Staff were friendly. They surprised me with a little birthday chocolate tart . Afternoon tea was super delicious!!

My friend and I booked the afternoon tea, which was lovely. The food was delicious as wel as the biscuits and the sweets. You get worth of your money. The restaurant is located at a beautiful locating and the interior is amazing. It was very busy when we arrived. Some of the staff was friendly, some of them were stressed I had the feeling. It took a long time before someone came to us. When they came to get our order for the tea’s. The tea was almost finished before our food came. The reservation was made at 14.00, and so we arrived. The food arrived at 14.45 I don’t mind waiting but this was a little bit to long of a wait.

The majority of the food was lovely however we found the chicken brioche tasteless and we didn’t finish this or the salt beef sandwhich as we felt this had too much horseradish cream. The only other fault was there wasn’t enough clotted cream for three huge scones. Otherwise food was lovely, setting nice although a little pricey when service charge was added ( £189 for the thee of us )

Ambiance was perfect. Overall savoury wasnt too great probably give it a 5/10 . sweet portion was alright but a little too sweet. Scones was perfect with bigger size portion. I think it was just overpriced for the portions we had . But place was very clean and staff well dressed and very professional. Food was made in front of you so you can see it being decorated and served

I would definitely recommend Roast to friends and family as it was really pretty with the floral decor and the afternoon tea was very tasty. I would however liked to have been asked when I preferred to have our mocktail as we were also drinking tea while eating, so the mocktail should have come halfway through the sitting.

Excellent Afternoon tea. The savory food was varied and tasty including sausage rolls, scotch eggs as well as sandwichs. The scones were very large. The amount of food was very generous portions. The layout of the table and the teapot, cups etc were very pretty.
