Join us for a traditional British afternoon tea, featuring a taste of ROAST classics!

Our afternoon tea comprises of 3 courses including finger sandwiches, savouries, traditional scones served with jam and clotted cream, and true British cakes. It is served alongside a great selection of tea.

We offer the perfect environment to enjoy the great British tradition of afternoon tea whilst looking down on the hustle and bustle of London’s oldest market place.

We are glad to offer the following alternative afternoon tea menus, with a minimum of 48 hours notice prior to your reservation: Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten Free, Halal.

Our afternoon tea is available Friday to Sunday from 11:45am to 5:30pm.

The menu relies on only the freshest produce so is often subject to change.

                                  We treated my Nan for her birthday, amazing experience and the food was fantastic. The service was amazing, would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

                                  Really dissatisfied it was a big disappointment we paid £280 for afternoon tea which wasn’t great tasting, we waited 40 mins for it after already being seated late, the staff weee not dressed up as stated it was too crowded and rushed not a relaxing atmosphere. Would not recommend for the price

                                  This was a superb afternoon tea, the attention to detail with the Day of the Dead theme and flavours to create the menu were well thought out and beautifully presented! Range of teas on offer was comprehensive - cocktails curated to accompany were fun and delicious! Even though the restaurant was at capacity with a steady turnover of sittings; the front of house team made service look flawless - effective and friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed - will be back!

                                  We really enjoyed it although had to wait for 25 mins for our table & unfortunately its a very small area to wait. Staff are lovely food was good apart from the black scones, it was the Halloween menu. Nice atmosphere

                                  The place is beautiful, and the service was fine, despite some reviews. I mentioned that I eat halal; upon arrival, they told me it needs to be requested in advance, but they do have a specific halal menu. The wait was quite long: about 15 minutes to take our order and another 20 minutes to serve it. In total, nearly 40 minutes before we could eat. Fortunately, they gave my daughter a coloring book and offered us a dessert as an apology. If you’re in London and have some time, it’s worth a visit, but don’t expect quick service. Ideal if you plan to explore Borough Market afterward.

                                  The food was very average & not worth the £££. And additional 15% was charged as service . We went for Halal option. Dessert selection is nice but Scones were not very nice with average jam and cream. Savouries were very average too and the lady who seated did not sound welcoming and gave the vibe as she didn’t wanted to be there and was forced to deal with us as we checked in.

                                  The bottomless processco afternoon tea was alright. It's was very busy when we went. The service could of been better. It was hardly bottomless processco afternoon tea. We only had three glasses when we were there. I was actually quite disappointed.

                                  Nice food, poor service, from po-faced, cold staff. And for the first time ever when having afternoon tea, I was charged for topping up my tea. I don't object to the £59 for afternoon tea, but £5 more for a top-up? Not good customer service
