Join us for a traditional British afternoon tea, featuring a taste of ROAST classics!

Our afternoon tea comprises of 3 courses including finger sandwiches, savouries, traditional scones served with jam and clotted cream, and true British cakes. It is served alongside a great selection of tea.

We offer the perfect environment to enjoy the great British tradition of afternoon tea whilst looking down on the hustle and bustle of London’s oldest market place.

We are glad to offer the following alternative afternoon tea menus, with a minimum of 48 hours notice prior to your reservation: Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten Free, Halal.

Our afternoon tea is available Friday to Sunday from 11:45am to 5:30pm.

The menu relies on only the freshest produce so is often subject to change.

                                  The bottomless processco afternoon tea was alright. It's was very busy when we went. The service could of been better. It was hardly bottomless processco afternoon tea. We only had three glasses when we were there. I was actually quite disappointed.

                                  Nice food, poor service, from po-faced, cold staff. And for the first time ever when having afternoon tea, I was charged for topping up my tea. I don't object to the £59 for afternoon tea, but £5 more for a top-up? Not good customer service

                                  This was my first visit to Roast and it won’t be my last. A stunning restaurant with faultless service and beautiful food.

                                  If I could give it 0 star I would Went there for Halloween Afternoon Tea absolutely terrible the bread was stale the pulled pork was not pulled pork it was chunks of pork that was tasteless the smoked salmon was not nice and I really love smoked salmon the one from the supermarket tastes better and I had the Gluten free option omg yuk yuk. The Service was rude I asked for sugar for the teas and that was if it was to much effort there was loads of staff walking around only one person smiled in there absolutely terrible place such a waste of money for four of us £225 did not realise paid service charge WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!

                                  I had a terrible experience at this location. Despite having a reservation, the staff was unable to accommodate me in the afternoon tea area and instead seated me in the restaurant section. The marketing communication of this place is completely misleading. I booked here to enjoy a Halloween-themed afternoon tea, only to find out that the festive setup was confined to a small part of the restaurant. The rest of the place was completely plain. The main reason I chose this place was for the themed decor, so being seated elsewhere without any decorations made me decide to leave. It was a huge disappointment. The reservation and management were not up to expectations; it felt more like a walk-in service. I definitely won’t be returning.

                                  Very instagramable place, which usually means the food is average which in this case it was. I was quite disappointed the menu wasn’t explained to us when we arrived, food was slapped down and that was about it. I have never been to an afternoon tea (until now) that didn’t check what you did and didn’t love and go and get more of the things you favoured. I really wouldn’t recommend this place for a delicious afternoon tea. This is more for the photos and how cute it all looks.

                                  Service was poor, waited a long time to get a menu. Food was very slow, we had to ask to order drinks several times. Was disappointing.

                                  We really enjoyed the sandwiches, savoury dishes and the black scones but wasn’t really keen on the other desserts. Lovely place and would like to come back to try the main menu.
