I booked the Secret Garden afternoon tea for my aunt’s 80th birthday and opted to sit in a dome in the garden. The staff had decorated the dome with gold balloons and bunting which was very lovely and unexpected. The staff were friendly, polite, respectful and thoughtful. The food was exactly the right amount for me. My aunt was given a box to take home the few bits she couldn’t manage. It was overall a lovely experience and I would highly recommend it.

Booked the dome for 8 people including visitors from Canada and US, it was a reunion of sorts for my parents who hadn’t seen their friends and relatives for many many years and I really wanted something special and British for them to experience. I booked afternoon tea quite last minute and was so pleased by our experience. The service was so friendly and the setting was beautiful! I was worried it would be a bit stuffy inside the dome but they turned on the portable AC for us, there were also blankets if we got cold. The tea presentation was so cute and I loved that the scones tasted fresh and fluffy! The sandwiches were also so yummy and the selection of tea suited everyone’s tastes. It was a little hard to find servers to ask for things but once we did they were so sweet and prompt with everything so I have 0 complaints there! I would 100% book this experience again for special occasions, and have recommended it to friends who also have overseas visitors coming. Thank you for a special afternoon!

This was my second visit this year to The Secret Garden. the first was so good I booked again. This time I was accompanied by a disabled friend. The staff gave us every assistance throughout our visit going out of their way to accommodate us. The tea and the chefs tasty little extras were much enjoyed. Scones were light as a feather, sandwiches delicious and accompanied by beautiful little cakes and desserts and real leaf tea. The weather was fine but it would not have mattered if it had rained as we were inside the dome which also has heating if needed. We will certainly be returning for tea in The Secret Garden it was a delight for all of us.

Not a good experience waited an hour to be served the afternoon tea as one was gluten free. When it arrived the bread was dry for both gluten free and normal. These were not freshly made sandwiches. When we complained nothing came of it. No staff around to ask for more drinks. Really disappointing

Absolutely Gorgeous setup! We tried 5 different teas and they were all 10/10! The sweet treats were also great, we did not love the savory foods but is just a personal preference.

What a cute way to do afternoon tea! The food and tea were great! I wish I would have come more hungry as it was more food than I was expecting. The service was pretty slow - took awhile for food and drinks to come out but I know Americans tend to rush everything so it was nice to slow down and make it an experience.

We were sat immediately upon arrival with very polite staff. Beautiful location, and the domes were fun. Unfortunately, I think they were understaffed, as it took almost 20 minutes for a server to come by and ask if we had ordered. He was able to bring us menus, and we had water thirty minutes after arrival, followed by cocktails and then tea. We had pre selected afternoon tea with cocktails or Prosecco, as well as some add ons, but they didn’t seem to have any record of those add ons. Fine, because we didn’t need the extra drinks as we had waited for so long with none. It was the first afternoon tea most of my party had experienced, and I wish it had been more in line with others I’ve had. Very disappointing for the price.
