Lovely way to celebrate one’s niece’s birthday. My only complaint is the teapots are not insulated therefore you are drinking cold tea most of the time. A thermal teapot or at least a tea cozy would improve the tea temperature substantially.

We were a party of 9 and were very disappointed overall at the Hotel Sask high tea. We have been coming to the Hotel Sask high tea for many many years and Dora our waitress from previous years was the best waitress! First of all for $34 per person everyone had not 1/4 of a sandwich and one item per person and nothing was replenished! Only one item per person and even there was shortage on scones and there was limited whipped butter, there was no Devonshire cream and no miniature bottles of assorted speciality jam. We had to try to find our waitress and finally after a long time when she came to our table we asked for jam and she brought back the cheap generic jam cartons. So so disappointing for a high tea! As well once we paid our bill, the waitress was nowhere to be found. Not good! We used to get all items and always replenished as well as great service as we had always enjoyed coming to the Hotel Sask for high tea. We will never go to the Hotel Sask for high tea again! It was not a good experience at all! We will definitely spread the word to our friends as well. It’s very sad to see how the Hotel Sask has really gone down.

It was my birthday and I was pleasantly surprised by the waitress who brought me an extra slice of cake while she sang happy birthday to me.

We booked afternoon tea at the Hotel Saskatchewan, we were disappointed by the very slow service. It took nearly an hour to serve us! At one point we were the only table left without being served! The sandwiches and pastries were good, but the kids menu was disappointing, Not sure how many kids would actually eat the choice of sandwiches that were served, and unlike other placed that I have booked before, my son was not offered the sandwiches of his choice. All in all I think it was the worst afternoon tea I have ever had and will not be booking this again! Disappointed as I had such great expectations!

This is about the 17th or 18th Christmas tea we have done. The service rating I gave was simply because there were not enough servers. The food rating was due to lack of variety. We used to get a level of sandwiches, level of veggies, a level of sweets. This year we had 2 levels of sweets, which was just too much. Perhaps you could have an option when booking? Also, other teas we have gone to refill the sandwiches, also would have been nice. We will continue the tradition with our girls, regardless...hopefully with Hotel Sask. Thank you.

Excellent experience overall! “Must do” on a visit to Regina. The Hotel Saskatchewan is truly outstanding from every vantage point.

The ambience was nice but the food felt like it was bought from Costco and then put on a tray, I don’t think it’s worth $35. The tea selection was good but overall would I recommend it to a friend no.
