Experience The Ballantyne’s take on classic teas offered in England’s finest tea houses with a Southern flair. Enjoy a variety of tea blends from Rare Tea Company, the official tea of the Royal Family.

Tea is served each Saturday and Sunday from 1:00-4:00pm. The cost is $49 for adults or $64 including a glass of champagne and $29 for children, ages 12 and under. (plus tax and gratuity).
Credit Card Number needed to book a reservation. There is a 48-hour cancellation penalty. Any No-Shows will be charged $50 each.

The tea was a pleasant experience. The sandwiches and cakes were ok overall with many hits and a few misses, The flavor of the tea was also not as strong or as hot as I would have liked, but overall was a nice way to spend a Sunday. The service was not that attentive but I think my server may have been in training. The tea was not stuffy or overly fancy, it was a nice, relaxed atmosphere, and I would recommend this experience if you happen to be staying in the hotel.

It was a wonderful experience to celebrate my mother’s birthday. The selection of tea was great, and selection of tea sandwiches and desserts paired wonderfully with it.

It was a wonderful afternoon. Table settings were charming, food presentation was beautiful. A few too many sweets on the tray but everything was really good....even took home a tray of sweets because we couldn't finish everything. Will definitely go again.

We’vehad tea here for years. It’s been a favorite special outing for us. But not anymore. It’s become a touristy thing rather than a luxury experience. Very cheesy, rather than elegant. Less food & it’s plain & not tasty at all. Our server never checked on us after she brought the tea service. The tea itself is delicious, so if you’d like to pay $98 for a good pot of tea, then it’s worth it. If you’re looking for more, skip it.

The Afternoon Tea was such a delightful experience. The teas we wonderful and the assortment of snacks were tasty. The staff were very friendly and even took some great photos of us. The hotel itself is beautiful and the seating is very comfortable.

Perfect afternoon experience for my 5 yr old granddaughter and me! She loves getting “fancy” and we had a lovely table with elegant seating. The staff was kind, helpful and made it easy for a child (“special” tea, pb&j alternative sandwich etc.) We had a memorable experience in every way. No complaints at all.

Staff and environment are great. Food selection has room for improvement. There's 24% service charge included in the bill.

The food was great but felt the $50 per person and 24% gratuity added automatically was too expensive for tea and finger foods. Do not plan on going again.

Overall, the Afternoon tea was lovely. However, I found it inappropriate that a political agenda was included in the presentation of our food. We were told that the opera cakes were to celebrate Pride Month. It was an expensive experience that was "almost" perfect except for Ballantyne's need/desire to celebrate an agenda that is not part of my life.
