Presenting a range of superior steaks and chops, a seasonal raw bar, and creative reimaginings of beloved comfort dishes, Aera promises peak indulgence 38 floors above the city.

Please note that all reservations from 2:30–5pm from Monday to Friday, after 10pm from Monday to Wednesday, and after 11pm from Thursday to Saturday will be offered our bar bites menu. For our full à la carte lunch and dinner menus, please make a reservation during our regular dining hours.

This is my 3rd time at Aera. The food is pretty good here. Their sushi is pretty fresh and yummy. The steak was okay. The service is not good as usual. Service has always been slow especially at the beginning when waiting to order. I was a bit surprised that we were told we couldn’t have flash photography in the dining room even though the only reason we go to aera is for the views. I did find it odd that everyone else was taking flash photography but one of the staff only told me table we weren’t allowed to.

Go here for the view of the city, which is stunning. We sat at the chef's table which should be called the Pass table because you are literally seated next to the pass (great for seeing what dishes look like but hardly the typical high end cuisine chef's table setting/vibe). Service is more aligned with a casual bar--dressed like a proper front of house but attention to service totally lacking. Items would be placed down by reaching over me instead of coming to my side, when we arrived there was no one at front of house for several minutes (I wondered if we arrived before dinner service had started) and we had to ask for fresh plates between a warm dish and a ceviche. I would say it is worth taking someone there once to see the view and then never return. Particularly given the price point, lackluster service and food which was fine but not great.

To be honest, we were excited about the open kitchen and sushi counter, but not one chef had a hair net and they were eating on a regular basis. The nigiri and sashimi was good. The ceviche was the worst I have ever had in my life. All 3 drinks we ordered tasted too sour or like a cleaning product. Our waiter was also not on point. Unfortunately, the hype was quite a let down. The only good experience was the view

We asked for a seat with a better view after booking over 2 weeks prior and no one wanted to help us with that , they kept saying these seats are reserved as if we didn’t book ahead of times ourselves . The food took very long to come and it seemed we were not a priority as the place is frequented by regulars. Overall the food was ok but the cornbread appetizer that was recommended to us didn’t taste good and was very oily .

The cocktails are not good lol very sweet and miss the mark on the balance. The dishes are also sub par, not worth the value. Just my honest opinion.

Highly recommend! We’d a very lovely dinner last night, it was our anniversary we got lucky to have a table with beautiful view, foods are delicious, cocktails are fabulous and staff are so friendly! Service was really good ! Dj sets was fantastic ,we love the music there! We’ll definitely back there !
