On Wednesday, February 26, from 7-10 p.m., Michelin-starred Chef David Myers, the Gypsy Chef™, presents an exquisite multi-course menu thoughtfully paired with California’s finest wines from the prestigious Frank Family Vineyards portfolio. Begin the evening with Artichokes Alla Romana, elegantly paired with the 2019 Frank Family “Rouge” Sparkling Rosé from Los Carneros, setting the tone for a night of balance and sophistication. Next, experience a choice of bright and delicate flavors with Grouper Crudo with lemon vinaigrette, citrus segments, jalapeño and sumac, or Heirloom Tomatoes with burrata, smoked olive oil and crispy quinoa — both complemented by the 2019 Frank Family Chardonnay from Los Carneros, known for its flavors of ripe mango, pineapple and a delicate hint of jasmine blossom. For the main course, guests can choose between two expertly crafted entrées: Prime Rib Eye (6 oz) with herb chermoula, wild mushrooms and herb butter, or Grilled Red Snapper with pepper and quinoa caponata and arugula salad. Each dish is perfectly paired with the 2021 Frank Family Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley, a beautifully complex and classically styled wine perfumed with aromas of sweet blackberries, violets and vanilla to enhance the depth of the dishes. Guests will dive into the art of agave spirits, learning how to craft expertly balanced cocktails that celebrate the bold flavors of Mexico with a Mediterranean twist. To complement the evening, enjoy the limited-time taco collaboration between Velvet Taco and ADRIFT Mare, featuring a fusion of flavors that brings together both restaurants’ signature styles. Tickets are $50 per person and include the hands-on cocktail experience and delicious taco pairing.

    Great food, tastes great. Super slow service, waited about an hour for our food. Wasn’t even busy. They say they are busy but they’re mainly just either understaffed or don’t care for good customer service.

    The establishment was very accommodating to the different requests I had asked to make the night special for my birthday guest! Between having our espresso martini and new fashioned drinks ready to order for both of us, the changing of the seats from inside to outside with the ocean view, and the cheesecake with berry compote and a lit candle to celebrate, it was all a wonderful evening! Thank you to the GM Phillip and his staff for being so kind and attentive. You all were fantastic! We ordered the Pita with classic dips, the crispy calamari, charred octopus and the saffron rice. Everything was very flavorful and cooked to a nice tenderness. The inside decor is very calming and relaxing with a bit of panache. All in all, it was a great evening!

    Overall, this was the longest and worst dining experience my boyfriend and I have ever had. This wasn’t even a true tasting menu. Our reservation was at 10 PM, we didn’t receive our main course until after 1 AM, and we left the restaurant at 1:45 AM as one of the last guests to leave. If we hadn’t already prepaid for our meal ($400) we would have left and gone elsewhere.

    Food was very good, service not so much. I am allergic to oysters and made them aware of it, and still we were served oysters not once, but twice. Dinner had been paid when I made the reservation, but they brought a check for the whole dinner again. I protested and they fixed it, but took forever doing it. Still, we had a good time because the food was specially good, and the dj had good music throughout.

    This place is a more of a high end bar lounge for hotel guess.. definitely not a good value for your money.
