One of my top restaurant choices in Toronto which also happens to be the best Indian downtown. Always an incredible experience.

We ate dinner on a Friday evening at Adrak Yorkville. It has beautiful, plush, authentic interiors. Servers were generally attentive and helpful, though if we asked them to give us a few minutes, after a few minutes would pass we would have to call them over after trying to make eye contact for a minute or two; this happened more than once. Regardless, every single staff member was pleasant and provided upscale service. The food was the biggest let down in that it wasn't for Indian taste buds, but more-so for the non-brown upscale crowd from Yorkville. Of the dishes we ordered the rani kachori and halibut tikka were the highlights and worth trying. The Butter chicken was too sweet, the paneer khurchan lacked flavour and spice, the chicken biryani lacked spices. We prefer the Richmond Hill Adrak.

My second visit here. So good! Love the cocktails and food. The menu can be hard to navigate, definitely ask the waiter for advice, but all the food we had both times was delicious, so you can’t really go wrong. The service is impeccable. They are very friendly and helpful. The interior space is divine. You feel like you’re in an old train.

Second time here and it was just as good if not better. The food is excellent - I’m thinking the very few people who claim the food is “not good” are most likely not conditioned to “authentic” Indian cuisine. The ingredients are top notch and fresh, and great care and creativity is provided as well to offer a fun dining experience and a caring staff.

I think this is the best Indian cuisine available in Ontario so far. A must visit atleast once. Food is worth every penny.

The interior is beautiful, the food is incredible (best of the night was definitely the rasmalai cheesecake!) but what stood out and made us leave feeling like we had a great dining experience was the service. Our servers and the restaurant manager Jaish were so warm and welcoming. We can’t wait to go back to try the rest of the menu!
