Drew, who was born in Baltimore, Maryland, made a name for himself working in a number of kitchens in Washington, D.C., including high-ranked restaurants and Michelin-starred establishments. Drew went on to receive the Rising Stars award from StarChefs, being recognized as one of the Top Chefs in Washington DC.

The Chef’s Counter is an intimate view into the heart of Adeline.

Located in our kitchen dining room, the Chef’s Counter is an intimate view into the heart of Adeline. We offer six seats showcasing a front row immersive experience of our chefs in action and watch how our dishes come to life. WE ONLY ALLOW PARTIES of 2,4, or 6. Our full menu is available at the Chef’s Counter along with access to any/all specials that we have listed for the evening. To make your Chef's Counter reservation, there is an $85 per person pre-pay, . We will deduct the pre-paid amount from your total check. Reservations canceled for the Chef’s Counter are 100% non refundable. Thank you for your understanding that there are no exceptions to this rule. As a small business, we depend on reservations and we appreciate your support.

LOVE this place. We had an amazing New Year’s Eve dinner. Service, atmosphere and food top notch and awesome cocktails.

This restaurant never fails to deliver excellent meals in a comfortable and relaxed setting. The staff strives to make sure you have an excellent experience. We were there for New Year’s Eve and couldn’t be happier that we chose this fine restaurant.

Our favorite restaurant in Sarasota. Adeline never disappoints! We love being able to share and taste so many delicious dishes. Everything is so fresh and meticulously prepared. We really enjoyed sharing the experience with good friends.

We loved Meliora, and this was the first time going to the new Adeline. It didn’t disappoint! Some of our old favorites were still fabulous (hello scallops and milk bread!). And the addition of things like the shareable steak was much appreciated. Happy to have this wonderful restaurant back and thriving! Josh, our server, was great, also.

Sat at the Chef’s Counter with my wife. Service was prompt and attentive. Wine and cocktail options were varied and plentiful. Food was amazing. Will definitely return. The one minor oddity IMO was that the doors at Adeline opened at the exact time of our reservation, ie we had to wait in the street until the restaurant opened. Having a 10 or even a 5 minute overlap would allow guests to wait inside the restaurant (maybe at the bar) would add to the overall premium experience.

Drew is a chef extraordinaire! We took a global tour of delicious and unique plates in the heart of downtown Sarasota. The dishes were exquisite, well thought out and balanced. The scallops, tuna and oysters are a wonderful start to the evening followed by the duck, lamb naan and gnocchi. It's a foodie's paradise and a must visit if in Sarasota.

Hands down the best dining experience we have had in Sarasota at the Chef’s Counter. The food was exquisite and the Chef shared details throughout our meal. Highly, highly recommend!

Had a wonderful dinner here. This was one of the most elevated dining experiences we've had in Sarasota. We will definitely be back.

This restaurant is a gift to Sarasota! This chef has a beautiful way of creating delicious food. The layers of flavor do not disappoint! In fact as we were leaving, we were picking out the offerings on the menu that we would like to try on our next date here. Start with the Japanese milk bread- perfection . Definitely try the gnocchi- it’s a must! They are creamy and delicate with a sauce that is addictive. Garnished with pretty edible flowers and toasted happy breadcrumbs! Yum! We tried the rigatoni Amatriccana - awesome!The pork blade very good as well. End with the Japanese cheesecake- not your average. It’s like if cheesecake and crème brûlée had a baby! We normally get the duck, which is fantastic. There are fun new things to explore.
