ACRE is an authentic and sustainable restaurant in San Jose del Cabo with a modern farm-chic culinary experience offering signature cocktails and a unique global cuisine concept inspired by local products to attract gourmands and those seeking the freshest farm-to-table options in the most beautiful settings. We are proud to announce that ACRE has been recommended in the Michelin Guide 2024 and has been awarded a Michelin Green Star for our commitment to sustainable cuisine.

ACRE's restaurant and bar, are the heart and soul of ACRE Resort, which also boasts a boutique hotel with 12 tree houses and ample space for events, weddings, and corporate functions.

D'après les éditeur·rices d'OpenTable : Situé dans l'hôtel Acre Resort, ce restaurant respectueux de l'environnement a reçu une étoile verte Michelin et propose une expérience culinaire « de la ferme à la table ». Il se distingue par sa cuisine gastronomique inspirée de recettes internationales et préparée à partir de produits locaux. Du petit-déjeuner au dîner, vous pouvez savourer des ramen faits maison, des cocktails signature et des côtes d'épaule le mercredi. Could not have been better. From the cocktails at the start, to the TOMATO SALAD, the small but well thought out wine list, and the tomahawk steak, with a bottle of chianti included! Everything we had was inspired and delicious! Can’t wait to come back.

We had yet another excellent experience here. Great food, really good cocktails, and excellent food. This restaurant never fails to deliver a positive experience. Our only feedback is that they pump live band music playing in the bar area through speakers in the restaurant that is just too loud. We were on the opposite side of the restaurant in the outdoor area and we could hardly hear each other talk without raising our voices. Turn it down a notch or two or better yet just don't pump the music through the speaker system.

EXCELLENT food and service. Portions are big, so you can split if you’re not a big eater. (We did not have cocktails) You can walk the beautifully landscaped path, it’s like a well-coiffed jungle 😆 and there are glam treehouses tucked back in there. Very nice pool. Go further back to see adoptable puppies, and there are also chickens, turkeys, ducks, peacocks, bunnies, a big fat pig, lots of goats, horses, donkeys, and a few very comfortable well fed cats 😆 A credit card is required to secure a reservation. It’s a long way to get back to the restaurant, winding and lumpy dirt road, but drive slow, stick with it, and you will be happy you did. Use GPS 😉 We’ll be back. 💞

Our reservation was at 8pm, we didn’t end up being sat until about 845pm. I was excited to try the biscuits but they ended up being very dry. I had the seasonal risotto which was delicious. Ambiance was nice, very busy restaurant.

Gorgeous place. Go to Flora Farms for lunch but save Acre for a special dinner. The setting is spectacular. You feel like you are in the jungle. And the food… bar none the best meal in the San Jose area. Not to be missed!

Service was a bit laggy for a Tuesday night in March. Asked for a heater by the table due to the chilly conditions. Had to wait an extra 10 minutes for the bar to close my tab. Bar cocktails could use some reevaluation as they simply didn’t balance well. Transferring our bill to our table was not an option. The Fig collins was not great. Once we were sat, things got way better. Definitely recommend the crab cake which was the star of the meal. Overall friendly staff, good ambiance and food.

Acre is more than just a meal, it’s an experience from the moment you pull up. Be sure to arrive early to walk the beautifully lit pathways guiding you along the Acre grounds to the mango grove, animal stables, and treehouses. And as for the main event; the dinner. The ingredients were fresh and full of flavor, sourced locally and most of it from their very own grounds, rightfully earning Acre their Michelin Green Star Award for sustainability. The mixologist, Sergio, delivered some of the best drinks we’ve had here in Los Cabos, including the Margarita Independiente, a delicious twist on a classic marg. The team at Acre made for a very memorable experience and we will surely be back.
