Paying homage to Oakland history-about 100 years ago there was a lounge and club called the VARSITY LOUNGE located in our same location, who knew! In digging up old Oakland memorabilia, we found an old menu. To our surprise-they were well known for two things the Varsity Martini and Conga Lines!! While we aren’t ready for a conga, we are ready for the Varsity Martini and other drink specials. Come join us every day in our downstairs café, and our upstairs bar Monday through Saturday.

The service was a little slow m and kids menu was extremely limited. Overall the food was extremely delicious and well prepared. Everything came out hot and fresh. The chef even came around to the tables and spoke with everyone. I highly recommend.

We had a lovely Valentine’s Day dinner at Acre. We were seated promptly and our server and support staff were. excellent. The menu was not limited but had V Day additions. We ordered from both menus. The food was great.

We had lunch there on Valentines Day. The menu is somewhat limited but good. Very good service.

The only problem was how cold it was in the restaurant last night. Usually not a problem, but with one heater out it was very cold at times.

Great addition to the neighborhood. Excellent food quality and just enough variety. Service was excellent.

I think we needed a couple More options on the main courses. Everyone got steak cause we didn’t want chicken or a burger. The fish didn’t sound appealing. I got the carbonara but it really did satisfy me. Everything we had was good but none of the choices were a full hit for us if we didn’t want steak

Had lunch. Food was very good. The standout was the great staff work. Friendly, efficient and they take time to answer questions. Recommended.
