    Good food, friendly staff, but value for money was not good. Quite high end price without the quality.

    This is our first visit and follows a recommendation by a friend. It was such an enjoyable experience. Food was amazing, service couldn't have been better, with an outlook over the water. Have no hesitation in also recommending Acqua

    Service was appalling. The waiter kept reaching between my colleagues and I as we were eating and chatting. I wanted prawns but they were unable to cook them in a dish that hadn’t been it’s contaminated with mussels? To which I’m highly allergic. Had this issue all my life and it’s the first time a restaurant has said they can’t manage to accomodate the request. As the waiter popped a menu done the wind caught it, this knocked over my colleagues practically full glass of wine, not only did we have to clean it up ourselves she was given less than half a glass to replace the wine lost. Strange way to behave and treat customers. First and last visit for me. Shame, it came highly recommended but in all honesty I opted for a chicken salad, bland and skimping on the salad too for the $. Poor experience all round.

    Hi Sharon, First of all, I want to apologies for the poor experience you had with us at Acqua which is not what we want to do here. Secondly, with the allergy situation, we are well known for our seafood dishes in particular so that is why we want to take any seafood allergy at the highest level of awareness. After reviewing & upon checking with the kitchen team, its show that there are many traces (cross contamination) can happen in the kitchen, that's why we care about our customers allergy & don't want to risk our reputation. Last but not least is a poor service from our waiter which is not reflect what we do here at Acqua. Hope you can give us a change & maybe try some other dishes at Acqua. Kindly regards Peter Pham

    Four of us were dining & we all had different options. Everyone enjoyed their dishes which included natural oysters, Morton Bay bugs, seafood risotto and a chicken breast. There were not a vast range of vegetarian options but there were some. The wine list was broad enough to cater for all of us. No cocktails or desserts had by us on this occasion.

    5 stars across the board. Service and food in particular. We have eaten at many fine restaurants on the coast and though we did get more drinks than usual, upon paying there is a tip feature (I'm not against tipping in the US as they get $3 an hour in most cases) to have it on the EFTPOS as 3 options highlighted and one at the bottom reading "No Tip" that's not highlighted seemed a bit American and I can see putting people off. I tipped, and feel the need to say so too - see what I mean? A jar would be awesome and would have got more from me.

The options are in different colour so guest know there is a no tip option if they dont feel like to do so. We do appreciate your concern & will definitely took it into consideration.     The seafood platter was fresh and delicious and we had three different desserts which were all very tasty. I would highly recommend Acqua.

    We have eaten at Acqua Restaurant & Bar 6 or 7 times quite and each time has been great. So fresh and well cooked. The lunch time set menu is great with good portions. The main menu is also fantastic especially the Chefs choices which gives so many more options. Very good quality food with really good portions. The wine and beer selections are really good too. Would recommend this restaurant. One of the best in Caloundra. Our service has been consistently good every time we have been there.
