New Year's Eve was a price fixe menu. This was not stated on Open Table or their website. We wanted to eat pasta but that wasn't offered. They don't have a full bar. They kept apologizing about not having anything we wanted to drink. My husband's steak was raw even though it was ordered medium. It was sent back and still came back too red. My dog would barely eat it. We won't be returning.

Realizing this was New Years Eve with a skeleton staff and pre-fix menu, this being said, we felt rushed the whole meal. Main course came very soon after the first course. The lobster bisque was very tasty and a generous portion, but temperature just slightly warm. Main course ravioli both lobster and butternut were both very good, but tepid temperature at best and pasta undercooked, not even close to al dente. Cooking was rushed. Desert delicious and generous portion. We look forward to giving this restaurant another chance when not a holiday and pre-fix menu.

It’s a beautiful place. Great parking in the back. It just got a little strange after my friend unfortunately didn’t like the cheese wheel dish. They did try and salvage the dish but my friend didn’t like it at all. They did take it off the bill. BUT Service kinda went downhill from there the waiter just wanted us to leave after it seemed didn’t ask us for anymore drinks or dessert.

They can accommodate large groups for any event, and there is plenty of free parking next to it.

Good food and great service. Fernando and Guillermo were good made sure our food was great and check on us to make sure everything was great.

From the wine, the fresh pastas and sauces to dessert delicious! We had the Carbonara, Fettuccini Alfredo and Bolognese, plates cleaned by the end. The seabass was succulent and risotto good but the pastas was where it's at for us...Nice size portions and the tiramisu authentically creamy with perfected flavors. The service was welcoming, expedient, warm and entertaining. Our waiter sung a couple Italian operetic bars for the room making our time at Acqua e Farina momentous. Happy to have a new dinner spot in downtown Chula Vista.
