It was mine and my boyfriends first time here and we loved it the food was good, our server was so sweet and amazing she kept checking up on us and I really loved the mocktails I felt fancy. I definitely will be back and recommend especially for cute date nights!

We don't often make it downtown for dinner, but Acero, especially on a cold, rainy night, is a pleasant way to spend an evening. Great (and interesting) food, wonderfull ambience what with the fire blazing away in the outer reaches of the dining room. We will be back.

Really enjoyed the food but the service was not good. The waitress was nice but hardly came by the table. Not sure if they were under staffed or not. The food was very good. Would try again to see if service was better, but there are plenty of good places with amazing service in downtown Boise to put up with poor service.

Hip and busy with a good happy hour vibe, but our flat bread and Mediterranean board tasted fresh out of the bag and/or jar. Bread was cold. Foodies should search elsewhere.

Could have been an off night, but meats were over done when asked for medium rare. Wrong order came out. Waited a long time to get the right order. We’ve been 5-6 times and love it -not completely turned off but maybe more attention to food quality and we may return.

It was such a fun place to meet for a late lunch/happy hour. The ambiance was great, not too loud. The food and wine were good too.

We had a lovely dinner before a hockey game. Our servers were friendly and kind, and our food and drinks arrived quickly, which was extra impressive as we had a table of eight! Everything was delicious, as it always is at Acero.

As always, the food was wonderful. They were quite busy, so the service was slow, and in fact, we had to request some things multiple times. The chicken piccata, while not traditional, was exceptional!

When we arrived the place was nearly vacant , which said a lot. We ordered appetizers and dinner and our friend’s dinners and appetizers came out at least 15 minutes before our appetizers. Had to flag down server when our friend’s food arrived to order another cocktail as the server never came to the table to ask if anyone wanted another cocktail. Our friends had finished with their main meals by the time the server came back around to get our main food order. Staff seemed to hide in the kitchen as we saw several drink orders stack up at the bar. Food was good but the food servers were so disjointed that it seemed like they forgot to either put in orders and/or bring out what people had ordered in the back. Our server couldn’t even provide a bill claiming the printer ink was out. Server never said what the amount of the charges were for each couple but took our credit cards and charged for what we assume were the correct amounts. My husband said the server was at least friendly and polite which I agreed; however it doesn’t make up for having to pay a minimum 20% tip if they didn’t actually provide restaurant service. Won’t be returning.
