This is the new sister restaurant to Dagon, on the Upper West Side, which we also like a lot. Acadia is in a great location near Carnegie Hall. It is attractive, with a somewhat loud noise level, but very pleasant. The service was uniformly excellent and very friendly. The food was terrific--at least as good as Dagon. Everything cooked to perfect, very interesting, and delicious.

Best new restaurant in 57th street corridor. Excellent food, wonderful service. constantly new items on menu.Very helpful to those with accessibility issues

Loved everything especially the hummus and the homemade bread! The duck was a little over cooked but still good. We will be returning and tell our friends.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

First off, on the plus side the food is delicious and fresh and flavorful. We loved everything we ordered. The restaurant is beautifully decorated in pleasing Mediterranean colors. On the minus side, the service was lacking. It took 20 minutes from the time we got our cocktails for the server to come back and take our dinner order, and that was only after flagging the person down. (I hate to do that, but we had a theatre commitment so it was important to move things along). The food came out bit by bit and we didn’t receive our side dish until well after we received the entrees. And isn’t it customary for the wait person to check in a few minutes after the food is delivered to see if everything is ok? That didn’t happen. And one last thing, and it might seem trivial to some, but why do most restaurants these days feel the need to play thump, thump, thump dance music in the background? Whatever happened to quiet, tasteful music (Brazilian or smooth jazz) or how about this - maybe no music? We are there to have a conversation and share a meal and there’s no need to blast music in such a lovely grownup setting. I’ll never understand why NO thought goes into this. Maybe because I’m a musician it bothers me more than most people but it’s so distracting and unnecessary. I doubt we’ll be back which is a real shame considering the food is excellent. There are just too many other good options to choose from and I don’t want to risk another $300 evening ruined by subpar service and loud inappropriate background music.

The food was excellent - thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Servers were helpful and knowledgeable and were very thorough in checking when it came to my "hidden" allergies. Very pleased with my experience and will go back again.

The food was good. What really negatively impacted our mood was the treatment we got. Right after we finished with our starters, the tables were cleared and we were given dessert menus. We were not asked what we wanted for our mains. Shocking treatment for such an elite style restaurant

Terrific food with a great variety of dishes on the menu. Salads, brunch dishes, all of it was excellent. Service is highly attentive.

This was the second time we dined at Acadia. The food is very fresh and delicious. It is fun to share the mezzes or the appetizers. The entry's are excellent as well. I highly recommend it.
